Paquitos Mexican Restaurant

Paquitos is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I been here multiple times in the last two years the restaurant serves vegetarian options that could easily be made vegan if you ask them to omit the cheese and sour cream. Their chips and salsa are so good I can't stop eating them, which could be a problem. Also, if you like to dance Paquitos also has a small bar by the entrance of the restaurant that is very cozy and plays Latin music. They even put club style lighting which is really cool and they also have a couple karaoke nights in the club which are very fun.

Recently I was visiting with my boyfriend and we arrived at this place. This is a restaurant very typical of Mexico. In my opinion, this place deserves 5 stars. The attention I received from Damaris, the person who treated us, was very exceptional when she came to recommending a drink and a dish. "Paquitos Parrillada", and to sip a strawberry magarita ,was her recommendation of the day. The second dish was the dessert called "fried ice cream", something totally different from all desserts. Something very indigenous to Mexico. Excellent, it just fascinated me. I loved your kindness and I felt like family. Paquitos, has a family atmosphere that when entering the place you feel like at home, in another world.

I never write reviews but my family and I were so delighted to eat here that I just had to give a rating. If you want a classically delicious Mexican meal, complete with charming decor, traditionally garbed waitstaff, non-Miami inflated prices and even a Mariachi band! look no further than this very humble and unassuming restaurant. Priced very reasonably, the portions were large and everything was delicious and detail-focused, right down to the freshly made tortilla chips and homemade salsa and smiling waitstaff who doted on my children. We are already booking our next trip to Miami, just so we can eat here! TIP: I know you will be full after dinner, but you can't leave without ordering the Mexican fried ice cream! Wow!

My wife and I stopped here on our return trip from the zoo for dinner. The service was good but the food was better. I had an enchilada and my wife had tacos and both were top notch for flavor and freshness. The chips and salsa were good as well and the price was reasonable. Their menu was fairly extensive but we kept with our standard order. I don't think you can go wrong visiting here is in the mood for Mexican food.

FRAUD CHARGES ON CARD AND CRAPPY PORTIONS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Food portions are tiny and overpriced. Used my card here, hostess woman took my card to the back of the restaurant for several minutes, two days later fraudulent charges on my card. (I know for sure it was done at this location because I never use my card). Called store still haven't received a call back. Long story short my account bounced and I'm now missing a very important family trip because of this inconvenient and selfish non-sense. Stay AWAY from this place. Roaches EVERYWHERE. I THINK THEY WORK THERE TOO.
