Parky's Smokehouse

Pretty good ribs, but a little baked or steamed tasting rather than smoked. Pulled brisket? Are you kidding me? Who does that??? Needless to say the brisket was terrible. Specialty sauces were pretty good. Sides were average. We did get the onion straws as an appetizer and they were really good. I would have given 4 stars if not for the disaster that is the brisket.

The food was good. Almost REALLY good. But the service was abysmal. Our server couldn't possibly have been any less interested in getting us anything in a timely manner. I'll give Parky's one more shot next time I'm in the area, but if it's the same server, I'm out.

Was excited to try this place while in the area. It had such good reviews! Saturday at 2:30 pm there were exactly 6 cars in the parking lot--so we thought it would be a great time--boy were we wrong. Had to wait to be seated as the hostess was ringing up some t-shirts -no big deal. After being seated I went to restroom & hubby got a glass of water. Waitress took a bit to come back for my drink order. Then she never brought my drink! We sat long enough the couple who came in right behind us were served their food! Then we watched our server--"Whitney"- take 3 drinks to another table--then walked right by us--then as sn afterthought says "oh-I forgot your diet coke didn't I"--at this point we decided to take our business elsewhere. Not sure what the reason was--bad day or what but we would likely not stop here again.

Food is always good, never stellar...but I'm not a huge barbecue fan so some of the flavors may be lost on me. The item I often order is the salsa (to go) and they'll have it packaged up for me to take home in a nice little plastic container. Several pork options, as expected. Service is hit and miss. One of my top three restaurants to visit while in Lebanon.

Very friendly staff. Very yummy food. Very diverse menu. I did not expect this much from a small town restaurant. Everything was excellent
