The Parlour burger did not disappoint. The meat was amazing, and the egg on top was an excellent choice. My only complaint is the $4 bacon add on, which resulted in a single tiny piece of bacon placed on top of my burger. Aside from that, very satisfied with the burger. The old fashioned and other specialty cocktails were excellent. The service was also a highlight, very much appreciate that. The hash browns were disappointing, it tasted like they cooked them the day before, and then just put a cold chunk on the plate. The loaded fries were okay, better than the hash browns. I will try a different side the next time I go back.
Wow! We got reservations in the smaller dining room at 5:30 for dinner before a Wild game. The cheeseburgers were delicious! I got one with an egg, which was perfectly cooked sunny side up. I am picky about French fries. Parlour’s fries were perfect! Tried the King Pao Brussels sprouts. Another good dish! The non-alcoholic beer from Athletic Brewing was also a standout.
My partner and I just visited and we loved it! The southwest hash was our favorite as it was the perfect balance of flavors. The burger was just as great. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We live in the neighborhood and will definitely come again!
Really good service friendly bartenders and servers. The food was hit and miss. We tried the country fried steak which was not great the crust was a little soggy and the gravy tasted like the flour hadn't been cooked out enough but the Parlor burger and fries were wonderful. Great cocktails! I recommend the bloody and the peach cobbler if available, it was the cocktail of the moment.
We have been coming here for years. They are known for their Parlor Burger. The place is always packed, the staff is always friendly, and they have great old fashions. But like I said they are known for their Parlor Burger. It is a perfectly cooked burger that has three kinds of meat, with cheese and a toasted bun. It is optional to add an egg and bacon, which is always a must. Come try it for yourself and you will see why I gave this great place 5 stars.
Had a nice dinner and great experience here. The menu is a bit small and laid out oddly, where there are some sides that are small, then larger sharable sides. But very few entrees. They are known for their burger which my wife said was excellent. I had the chicken sandwich which was ok. We ordered the pickle appetizer and brussel sprouts which were ok but not great. My old fashioned was very good but cost $15 which starts to push against what I consider reasonable at least here in MN. I did really like the tables and atmosphere of the restaurant.
While in town for a wedding, Parlour was highly recommended for their old fashioned & burger… and that’s exactly what we ordered. We all ordered our own drinks and split the burger four ways haha because we this was a second lunch…Both delicious. We ended up ordering a second burger to split again and multiple Old Fashioneds. If we return to St Paul, I’d go here again!
We came here for brunch and tried the pot roast hash, avocado tartine with smoked salmon, parlour burger, brussel sprouts and fries with aioli. Hands down the burger won all the way!! The sprouts had a distinct taste of horseradish which was slightly odd to me. Overall cool joint and vibe.Dine in: Yes
Cute brunch spot in St. Paul on 7th st. It was not too busy when we where there but it should have been! The food was amazing. “The best BLT of my life” according to one of our party. Hash browns were very good as well. The banana bread was a great way to end the meal. The cream for the coffee was thick and fresh, best cream I’ve had at a brunch spot ever.
St. Paul Local - The cocktails, food, and atmosphere are all elevated so are the prices. The old fashion was fantastic! I ordered their semi-famous burger. It has to be the best looking burger i’ve ever seen. It’s taste was top tier, meet flavors were great, cheese was great, bun was superb, thick cut delicious bacon, the egg was gorgeous although slightly over cooked. I would recommend to anybody, perhaps in my top 10 favorite burgers. I wish they could serve the burger medium rare but my server insisted well done was the only way to have it. I also wish they had some kind of burger sauce to accompany. The fries and swiss aioli are a must, although they don’t come with the burger and together are an extra $10 for a side order. Highly recommend!
