Officer riveria shooting a dog laying down your pathetic I watched the video and all cops with him should be ashamed of yourselfs.

First and foremost I worked for 17 and a half years, closely with 48 police depts. My grandfather and my two uncle's were police officer's. My cousin is in corrections also. My best friend was a leutinent in Bergen corrections. In the last year as a home owner in Passaic, I have had a disturbing situation were my dog was shot and killed by a Passaic police officer. I have seen police do plenty right by animals in Bergen where I work many times. I've seen so many risk themselves to help them. Sadly, Sept 23 this year my domestic dog was killed by Passaic police , Was she coming to harm anyone? No. Yet thats not what i was told by Passaic. I have gotten the video. Sadly, she was lying down when the Passaic officer shot her dead. I live a few hundred yards away and was looking for her, praying she didnt get hit by a car. Passaic police proved to me that the people I idolized as a kid and admired as an officer myself were far from perfect. I still idolize my uncles, my grandfather and 98 percent of police. To add to my dissatisfaction with the Passaic police, today, my car was impounded when it was parked across from Verizon near my home . Mind you, I have put it there so many times, I didnt think it was illegal. I was at Passaic police tonight. I waited in the hall for 15 mins. Police said on the phone that I may not get the car till Mon. I explained I needed it bad so I said to officer Herrera that many residents park there freuently. She sarcastically asked my age. I didnt need the sarcasam. She had me go to yard, get the licence, ins and reg to bring to her. So I payed about $260 plus taxi fees. I just took a pic of a car parked in the same spot to show officer Herrera. I will be taking pics every time i see a vechile there I will be at next month's open public meeting. Normally I wouldnt bother but officer Herreras rudeness made me want to prove my point to City officals.

The worst exprience. These people don't care about your complain or concern. I call them so much for noise because everyone that lives around me is trash and they don't seem to care to handle the matter in a timely manner. I call at 11:30 and they show up at 2am and that's if they ever send someone. I call at least every half hour to an hour to follow up because the noise is still going!! Nobody is scared of them or respects them. They need to do their jobs of which clearly they aren't doing. From 11:30 and past 1am and still the music is going because they can't send someone out? Really?!!

police department is the worst to deal with and in the event of an accident theres one officer that gives false observations
