A small, wonderful, dimly lit bar with great ambiance, tucked away with a view of a courtyard and fountain. The bartenders are very nice when it’s slow but choose to cater to the regulars rather than visitors when it’s busy, which is somewhat understandable. The Sazerac that Ulysses made me was outstanding and he showed me his own twist on the recipe which I loved. I’m only giving 4 stars because of the preferential service and because the second time we visited, the bar was closed 2 hours early because it was slow, both of which are understandable. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.
A must stop for us whenever we're in New Orleans. A nice, dimly lit wine bar right between Bourbon and Royal on Bienville. You wouldn't know you are 1/2 block off Bourbon, it's a peaceful and comfortable setting. Even though it's a wine bar, there is full bar available. No food though, but they have no problems with people calling in pizza or other to go items. The owner, Patrick, is always around and mingles with the guests which is very personable approach for a bar in New Orleans.
One of the most elegant champagne and wine bars in the city. Some of my favorite events happened at this venue. Make sure you check out the craft cocktails as well. The service and staff are unmatchable. Next time you’re in the French quarter be sure to grab a bottle of Champagne and head to his wonderful courtyard. Cheers
Great location and lots of character! This place was exactly what we were looking for… Unique and fun without being overly crowded and with places to actually sit and hear each other talk! But they still had upbeat music and it was a lively environment. Would absolutely return again and would recommend to anyone wanting a fun experience without having to endure the more obnoxious parts of the Bourbon St. area!
Lovely. Quiet and relaxing bar right off Bourbon Street. Nice wine list and appealing cocktails. Afternoon cocktail in the front patio and after dinner drink in the lounge. A favorite spot during our visit to New Orleans. Highly recommend the St Germain Cocktail.
Great little spot out of the craziness of Bourbon street. Quirky, dark, and sexy atmosphere makes you want to stay all night! Great wine list.
When coming to such a "destination" place, sometimes it's hard to navigate through all the countless choices in bars....Patrick's really sets itself apart in this maze of choices, as not only offering all your standard cocktails and beer, but for an avid wine drinker, the heart of the matter is wine....and Patrick's it's pure heaven.... Super nice staff, great wine list, and if you're around enough, you get to hang out with the man! A must when in NOLA!
We like it here. Good vibe, very comfortable, good wine by bottles and amazing servicesService: 5/5
Nice place for a glass of good wine to enjoy in their little courtyard away from the loud Bourbon street
Gorgeous setting. Relaxing atmosphere. Respite from the noise of bourbon street. Beautiful court yard with fountain. Great service
