Pattaya Thai Cuisine

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The staff are very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They offer plenty of options, especially for vegetarians and vegans. I often order for take out, but the restaurant itself has plenty of seating and is rarely filled beyond 50% capacity. The back room is all glass, which is very pretty during the day and night, but is often too hot in the winter. Staff have been willing to reseat our party before, as we were directly under a heating vent, but something to consider when planning to eat at the location.

I really enjoyed Pattaya. I'd been walking by it for years and didn't realize how far back it actually extends once you're inside! The decor was lovely. Seating was cozy but comfortable. I had the lunch special with wonton soup, a spring roll, and chicken pad Thai. The food came quickly and was delicious! My friend also ordered from the lunch special, and her requests to make things on the menu vegetarian were easily accommodated. She enjoyed the curry. Service was excellent and the food was reasonably priced. The pad Thai was a generous portion that turned into a second meal for me later. I'll definitely be going back!

In heart of u of penn area. Prices very good. Atmosphere was 2 1/2 - 3 stars. Very clean. Staff were 5 stars nice and helpful. Has bar. On street parking. We walked from Sheridan on chestnut too close to uber. Food was 5 stars chi tea with sweet milk was authentic and excellent. Spring rolls we really good as were coconut shrimp and shrimp wrapped in spring roll wrappers . We ate All those before we took pics. Duck soup with noodles was good 4 stars. Curry chicken mild was pretty spicy for novices. Portions large had to take home for lunch.

Amazing Thai food. Go to place if you love spicy food. (They have a spicy levels from 1 to 5).
