Loved the park it’s safe and enjoyable seeing all the other dogs. Definitely my go to place now
Patterson Playground not only has a great play area for children, they also have a large area for dogs. It is an off-leash park with plenty of room for your four-legged friends. The people are very friendly along with their dogs. Street parking available, but most folks live in the area so they just walk. Unlike some other parks, you don't have to have proof your dogs are current on their shots; however, it's a good thing to practice. This is in a very dog-friendly part of town and tons of local restaurants in the area with outdoor seating.
Free fenced area with seating for owners to let your dog run and play. Volunteers bring water jugs which is wonderful. There are toys, sticks as well as clean up bags. When it rains, it can be muddy, but they are really working to keep it nice. Re gently planted several new trees. My dogs love it.
I haven't brought kids to the park, but I have brought my dog to the dog park next door. This is a free neighborhood park. Though you dont know how people have trained their dog or if their dogs are vaccinated, it seems like the volunteers and owners do a good job of taking care of the park and having water for the pups.
Large park with lots of water bowls and toys. The ground is covered in mulch so it can get muddy. Great place for large breed dogs, but if you bring small breed, expect it to be picked on. Overall great dog park.
I'm writing specifically about the dog park which is attached to the playground. It's a great place to bring your dog for excercise. Owners sort of police the behavior of their own dogs, and clean up after them. I recommend this place!
Great dog park. Really enjoyed with my daughter and her dog.
As far as playground, not much at all. However, nice little area for dogs.
Kind of small, but still big enough for kids to play and conveniently located right next to a dog park
Great little playground for kids up to seven.
