Very happy w skills, students, coaches (teachers), reception , ease of appts, and price. Small talk is super! Fun to find out where students are from... some Charleston...others around the country. I am a frequent flyer.

Have been going here for cut, color and styling for over 2 years. Recently Josh , the manager left . Now the Owner , Bert is acting manager . Situation arose and rather than “the customer is always right “philosophy he has I am not going to own this whole situation ! He was arrogant , self important and asked me to “ please not return”.
Great training , stylists but you have to change frequently due to graduations ... Management at present is unsatisfactory at Best !

I've come here many times before with no problems until this afternoon. I told both the girl doing my hair & the instructor that I never part my hair down the middle, yet they told me it would be fine and proceeded to cut and style my hair with a middle part.
Upon just getting home, I am horrified to realize the one side is about three inches shorter in front (than on the other side) when I part it to the side as I usually do. The only way to fix this would be to lop off the same amount on the other side, which just so happens to be the exact opposite of what I want. I had also mentioned I wanted little to no length off in front, but this apparently was also disregarded.
The front desk stated I could come get it fixed (more like screwed up further???), though they could do nothing else. I explained that I do not want this fixed as, again, I do not want my hair to actually be shorter than it already was/is.
I used to have respect for this company, though I will now make sure to actively tell people they should never go here. I get that it's a learning institution, yet the pisspoor customer service after matched with the disregard for what I came in for is inexcusable.

I had been going occasionally for color. Today's experience was HORRIBLE!
First, I explained that I wanted only one blow dry product for volume and need a root touch up. I indicated that it is best to color the roots and wash it through the ends at the wash bowl. May ignored me.
She put the color on the roots and combed it throughout my hair. Then, she left her station for 25 minutes and could not be found even by the learning leaders. Her response was that she was in the restroom!
When we washed out the color, my hair was BLACK! I could have cried and died! I mentioned to Rocky that my hair would come out black. He was like, "No. We can fix it if it does." By the time it was washed out, I wanted to hide!!!
Then, after indicating 1 product only. She used three. Stupid me. I let her. And dry, my hair was BLACK!
I'll save my money and not come back!
