The manager over processed my hair I had about 18 inches of hair I'm down to six inches of breakage. Chunks falling out, telling me six inches of breakage is fine and to just get clip ins later to fix it. Clip ins. They couldn't even dry my hair because it was breaking so bad. So I left the salon with dripping wet hair. The other employees were super nice saw many satisfied customers with the employees . Unfortunately the owner is the one who did my hair. Had no idea what she was doing and kept me under foil to process for 2 and a half hours. When I asked if it was okay she kept saying you need more time. I asked her why did you think processing me so long would be okay? She said well you obviously have had your hair died before you know what the repercussions might be. Uhh no I'm not the expert in hair and I'm not the one with the degree in cosmetology. Worst experience of my life.

I chose this salon instead of my normal salon due to being pregnant and aveda dye being natural. I have been to many hair salons and have done a lot to my hair in the past and have never gotten upset about it until going here. The color ended up being 4 shades too dark with a thick orange strip in the front instead of my light brown with caramel highlights I requested. I also requested a few times to have my hair thinned out and the stylist never did. They let me leave the salon unhappy and out of military regulations like I had told them instead of staying to make it right. I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone.

Had been going to this salon for a couple years. Always had a good experience. Was told last cut they wouldnt be open but just 1 Saturday a month and they don’t stay open late any evenings!!! What does a full time working person do then??? What full service salon isn’t ope Saturdays or a late evening?? Tried to make appointments but got very frustrated. Won’t return.

Love this place. I rarely get my hair done, but now I feel like that's going to change! Yes it cost more than Walmart, but these ladies are also not going to jack up your hair and really listen to what you ask for. They are highly trained and qualified, with great personalities. The place has an amazing atmosphere, smells just amazing when you walk in and is super clean. The products they use smell just delightful, I couldn't stop smelling my hair all day, they suggest products to help keep your hair looking fresh and healthy and they definitely are also worth the money. If you want an amazing hair cut done by wonderful, f un people to be around definitely make your next appointment at Orchid Salon! Oh and just another point, the way they wash your hair makes you not want to move, it's the best head massage I've ever had!
