This place is never open! I went there on a Saturday at 11am am & they were closed.hours or operations are horrible

I drive past the People's Restaurant Equipment Company everyday on my way to work. I was In need of a few items and I had visited their website and noticed how reasonable their prices were, so I decided to stop in. I was like a kid in a toy store - there were so many items to choose from! I found exactly what I had been searching for and a few other items that I had been contemplating which I will get on my next visit!. The store is great and caters to both businesses and to those who want to enhance their own kitchens! I noticed they are renovating the store so I can only imagine what additional products they have to offer! So glad they are in the Detroit area - I highly recommend to others and cannot wait for my next visit!!

I just called to ask if they had a beverage dispenser for a grad party. The woman who answered the phone, Alida, went out of her way to show me what they had, and even texted me a photo. She also made several suggestions based off of her experience as a caterer. Thanks so much for the great service!

They always have what I'm searching for!

AVOID THIS PLACE! I got a bill for $62.99 for a bracket again yesterday. We paid you in store and I had called twice before about this bill and you told me don’t worry about it they have it wrong in the system. Now we got a letter about it again. I don’t know who stole the 62.99 that we paid but I need the owner to get a hold of me ASAP because now I’m beyond furious. You guys are by far the worst equipment store I will make sure to never shop with you guys again and let everyone else know. It took a year just to get my order and now you want to deny you got the payment in cash at my store. You guys collect payment upon delivery so how can the payment be missing ? That is not my problem.

Really helpful and had exactly what we needed for big family party. Will definitely be back.

This has to be the best restaurant supply place in the Detroit area! I went in here to purchase some real bar supplies for my home. They had everything I needed, and a lot more too! The staff was very nice and helpful. I'll definitely be coming back here in the future. 5 Stars!

5 stars for stellar service. This is the ONLY place to go for restaurant supplies in the Detroit area. It's well worth the commute if you're within an hour or so. They have anything you'd need in stock, and if they don't have it they can get it to you quickly.

I just wanted to say thank you to Marty Clos for the great customer service in purchasing some new equipment for my restaurant. He has been super helpful and answered all my questions and is always available for phone calls. Thank you Peoples and Marty for all the great stuff.

Love the place...and the 2 gentleman behind the counter, who come out and assist, tells me why the place has been around nearly 100 years!! They even have a clearance section, some items only $1.00! Now, the lady who answers the phone is just a little curt for my taste, don't quite hear a "smile" in her voice when I call, but you can't have everything
