I am so glad my friend told me about this place! My screen was replaced instantly and for a competitive price. When I had a later issue with inner workings of my phone he also fixed that in no time!! Highly recommended

Let me start out by saying my first few experiences with this shop were good with the exception of the "off the top of his head" pricing that increased every time we picked an item up. I first had him repair the charging port on my nieces' Galaxy tablet. The repair was completed within a few days. Next, I had him repair the cracked screen on my iphone 5c. He changed the screen in minutes. Later, I noticed that the phone wasn't quite together correctly because a section of the screen moved when I touched it. I then had him solder a piece on my dryer main board. He said this would be done in a day but it took about a week. About a week later, after having my screen replaced, the screen seemed to have a crack underneath the glass. I took it back and he said it was my fault and that I needed to buy a new screen. I DID NOT DROP the phone since the first screen replacement but I needed my phone so I paid again. He told me he had a used screen that he guaranteed to work and would only charge me $80. I accepted. A few days later the screen turned a dark blue and that is all that was displayed. I could hear the rings but there was no display. I went back to Gadget Drop. He immediately told me it was the screen. I objected to paying for a new one since in two weeks time I had paid over $200 and had two screens installed and my phone Still wasn't working. This was about a week and a half before Christmas. After I told him he needed to repair it without cost to me he changed his mind and decided it had to be something other than the screen. He insisted I leave it, so I did. The next day he said he didn't have time to get to it. Then the next day he tells me it's a part he doesn't have and would have to order it and that it would be a few days and a cost of $40 to me. I agreed. A few days turned into a week and beyond. Christmas Eve came and I went to the store just to be told he's sorry but the part wasn't in yet. I couldn't do anything but wait. After two weeks went by, I called him because I still had not heard anything from him he said he would call me when it was ready, and he said the part didn't work. He assured me he could fix it he just needed more time to run diagnostic tests. He tried to explain that these tests take alot of time and he had been very busy.

On my 1st visit there was a young lady working and her customer service skills were excellent. A month later, on my 2nd visit there was a young man and an older gentleman. The older gentleman had very poor customer service. On top of that the whole lobby smelled like a$$. Waaaaaaay better service over on Michigan Ave & Livernois

Best place to get your phone repaired! Went in with a broken iPhone 6 screen, was in and out within 15 minutes! Very clean and polite staff! Forever my go to place to repair my phone!
