Went here for the all you can eat tacos. They were all fantastic and had great flavor. I really enjoyed the chicken and shrimp tacos. Their chips and salsa is also very good. Small restaurant, but great service and atmosphere as well.
I've visited this place multiple times so this is a summary from various visits, not just one bad experience. The good: The drinks are great and the service is good. The atmosphere is also well balanced enough to hang out at without feeling overwhelmed by the noise or the people. The bad: the food is legit bad and overpriced. Most of the items on the menu are bland and tasteless. The shrimp and fish tacos are breaded and fried and the tortillas are flour. If you ask for hot sauce, they bring you Cholula, aka salty vinegar with splashes of tomato juice, which is fine if you're eating at a hole in the wall or an American chain, but definitely not okay for $5 tacos and $13 burritos. The carnitas leaked grease all over the plate and most of the fillings for the taco are just that - fillings that fill up space without adding any flavor or dimensions to the dish. At the end of the day, go there for the drinks and atmosphere. Bring your own salt shaker for some light snacking and plan on eating elsewhere after.
This place is a gem in the area. Been here at least 6 times and have always been happy with the price, quality and atmosphere. I think it is technically a chain, but it doesn't feel like it.
Food is good, though not exceptionally tasty, especially considering the prices. Hanging their hat on Isabella’s name, this place has a nice, intimate atmosphere, but doesn’t provide a particularly unique dining experience. The menu is classic Mexican food; we ordered the tortilla soup and a quesadilla. Each was just good, nothing more, and more expensive than we felt was justified.
The food here is amazing and the staff is really nice and helpful. The queso and guacamole are great starters to share with the table. My ultimate favorite thing here is the crazy corn, it's extremely flavorful. They really do a great job with all of their items and I always enjoy my time here.
Advertised all you can eat tacos, however waiter informed me the entire group/table has to choose this option! No where on the menu or signs outside was this stated or an asterisks or anything to indicate this absurd policy. Good taste but very small portions. The taco salad is a bit of a misnomer, just a salad in a regular bowl, no tortilla or tortilla strips, chips, anything, didn't come with the ingredients listed on the menu. Wait staff did get some of the ingredients on the side. For a celebrity chef's specialty restaurant, this visit was rather disappointing, went right after the opening and had a very good experience but not this time.
Trendy cantina restaurant with a fun atmosphere. We love their tacos - they've come up with really creative and delicious combinations! Decent margaritas - they have some creative flavors, but I'm a fan of the classic and it was pretty good. It's pricey, so it's worth going for happy hour!
Shrimp tempura tacos were super good but rest were avg in my opinion. Drinks were super strong and chips and salsa were really good. Only reason I’m rating 4 is because service was slow at first and the all u can eat taco is at a diff time than happy hour drinks/kind of misleading/a rip off
Interesting place....the greeting was good and full of enthusiasm but the server seemed to lack enthusiasm! The pork taco was lacking anything exciting and I found the pork to be quite fatty, the quesadilla was very good though.I would definitely have it again. Huge choice of drinks,I had an odd beer cocktail but would happily try others on the menu. All in all I would go again when it is more established
The service was instantaneous and the food came out surprisingly fast. Large drink menu. The pumpkin chipotle daiquiri was excellent. The highlight was the cauliflower taco. Does not taste like you are eating vegetables. The sauce in that is otherworldly. The restaurant is small and cramped, but we got there early enough to get seats right away.
