Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Eggs Benedict was delicious. Hash browns were a little cold, but tasted good. Service was very good, and not too slow. Quiet enough environment for our family breakfast that you can hear each other talk.

Worst place we ever ate!!! Opened my classic cheeseburger sandwich to put ketchup and mustard and the tomatoe still had the part where the stem of the tomato is attached. French fries were way over cooked. Both my fiancee and I couldn't eat them. My mother ordered the chicken salad, it was more bread than anything!!! Her salad had all wilted lettuce. Then upon telling a lady named Sonja ( I think that is what was on her name badge) said, she was just trying her hand at cooking. OMG!!!!

quiet place, with affordable pricing. Nice atmosphere competent wait staff and good variety on the menu. Definite place to stop if you have the time or are in the area.

Food was good although it took a while to get the order. We were seated promptly. A bit slow getting our water, but everything else was just fine. Waitress was very courteous & fairly prompt checking on how things are. For the 1st time in I'm guessing 2-3 years now, they were fully staffed! What a nice change from going in, seeing people sitting without water, menu or food. It's a miracle that they have not been shut down due to so many repeated complaints at the same Perkins in the same town. People of all ages would complain about the exact same problems. Guaranteed. It's a roll of the dice. Oh, and to the people all sitting there who got up and left after no service, they overheard the host telling us that the cook hadn't shown, they only had one waitress who was trying frantically to reach other employees to come into work. She was a nervous wreck. The guy in the tie out front was the one that stepped up & told us about the problem. We were however glad we gave them another chance.
