Pet Rest in Peace Memorial Center & Crematory, Pet Cremation

My husband and I just came back from cremating our beloved Rosie. I can’t say enough about Kurt and his associate (I’m sorry, with all the confusion, I forgot his name). They made my husband and I feel like family and took very good care of Rosie. They are empathic, caring and above all, true professionals. I highly recommend their facility. I know our Rosie is grateful as well. Thank you all for your incredible attention and immediate response to our needs.

My English Bulldog, Faith, passed away on Thanksgiving Eve. My veterinary hospital on Staten Island, NY who I have been going to for 35 years has a crematory on site but could not accommodate me until after the Thanksgiving holiday. I found Pet Rest In Peace on the Internet and they were available to help me on Thanksgiving Day to cremate my loved one. Ariel was very nice and she made a 10 a.m. appointment for me. On the day of my appointment I was running a half an hour behind schedule, I called them and spoke to Carolyn she told me It was no problem. When I arrived, Steve, was there to receive me. He was very kind, compassionate and helpful. I would highly recommend their services and I will come back again when I need their services. They are available 7 days a week and available on every holiday. Unlike other crematories places that I️ called in NJ who had answering services answering their calls, Pet Rest In Peace answers their own phone lines.

I heard about this place awhile back after my first dog passed away. I knew this was something I wanted to do for my other dog. When I called, the people I spoke to were wonderful. They were helpful and sympathetic. I took my pet there today for a private cremation. The man who took care of us was caring and professional. He gave us time with our pet and explained the process. We spent about an hour and a half there. They have a comfortable seating area. You can choose whether or not to view your pet being placed in the retort. They have many beautiful urns available or you can bring your own. We brought one and it was handed to us when everything was done. We also got a cremation certificate and a little book of sayings and poems about pets and pet loss. The only reason I took a star off is because of privacy. The way the place is set up, there isn't a private room. In the waiting room there is also the entrance to the bathroom. A few people came by us to use it as we sat there. Now this wasn't an issue for us, but it may be for some people who prefer privacy. It's also a bit awkward for the people walking passed. Just something to be aware of. We would not hesitate to recommend taking your pet here.

Just came back from the crematory. Very compassionate people. Did a very nice job on Chance and even cremated her favorite blanket. Quick. Respectful & private. Beautiful urn. Engraved plate. ID and certificate so you know you have the correct family member. She will live on in our hearts forever. ♥️♥️♥️♥️ wonderful warm welcome when we arrived. A bad situation but they know how to treat grieving families. Would recommend them 1000%
