This women groomed my 2 shih tzu/bischon Dogs. The results were absolutely horrendous. The snout area on both dogs were choppy and very uneven. The hair on the head was lopsided. She managed to shave the rump area on one dog so close that during our walk my dog was so irritated at what appeared to be a highly inflamed area she had to sit periodically throughout the walk. She offered to try rectifying this and I responded that nothing but time for the hair to grow out would remedy this. I could not imagine having her touch either dog again. Just to put this all into perspective I have never given a bad review about a groomer throughout my 30 years of owning dogs and having groomings done. I’ve occsionally been disappointed, but I’ve never been appalled. I questioned rather she was actually licensed...my advice would be to find another groomer - quick...
I have to add an addendum to this review. I honestly can’t believe the glowing reviews - are we writing about the same groomer? I just have to clarify the sequence of events here regarding this groomer. After my daughter, son in law and 3 grandsons talked about the awful job Rebecca did on my dogs I had to stop rationalizing about why my dogs looked so bad. Try to imagine what one child finding the scissors and chopping off the other kids hair might look like and pretty much you’d be visualizing the “grooming”. I actually had a hard time sleeping that night. I called and left a message for Rebecca the next morning.about how upset I was with the grooming. She texted me back stating she was sorry I was disappointed and was “willing to try to correct what was wrong”. The blotch job was bad enough that it couldn’t be corrected and frankly I wouldn’t want her to touch either dog again. Ever. I then texted her one more time when I observed the discomfort my dog was experiencing during our walk. I was livid but I never threatened Rebecca or resorted to crude language or name calling. And you know what Rebecca did? She called the police and had them contact me. Yeah. That’s right. If this review can stop just one more person from having their pets coats being hacked up and avoiding Rebecca it’ll be worth it.

I have given this company a Good only because of how friendly the owner is and how convenient it was to have her come to my door. The price is fair considering she comes right to you.
That said, she did a hack job on my Golden Retriever. He looks awful. She didn't clip all of his nails and completely skipped over clipping his stomach and therefore his penis which gets to be a hot mess when he pees if its not cut short. Nor did she properly blend his feathering so the cut was choppy looking. I'm pretty disappointed to say the least. It's unfortunate because I have read so many great reviews about her! Perhaps it just depends on the breed. I wouldn't recommend bringing your Golden to her.

I'm adding this portion after contacting the owner. When I explained that I was very disappointed, I was given an attitude. She did offer to come back and fix the cut, but I won't let her work on my dog again after how badly she messed up the first time. I said that I would pay her for cost of gas, wash, and nail clip but that I wanted a refund for the terrible cut (especially since I'm taking him to another groomer on Monday to have some of the damage corrected). She became argumentative. I ended up telling her to keep the money. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Pet Styles In Motion to anyone, regardless of their dog's breed.

This is usually a horrible time of year for my dog; she is half spitz and yellow lab and looks like a molting polar bear. Tufts upon tufts of fur are everywhere in my house, but Pet Styles in Motion came to the rescue! I usually dread having to have my dog groomed; taking her to PetCo or PetSmart was usually an all afternoon affair, which would require my dog to put in a crate until her turn. PetStyles was able to groom her in my driveway, while I was upstairs cleaning up. What used to be a 4 to 5 hour affair, now takes about an hour and fifteen minutes with a good trim, clipped nails and a bath. My dog, Mocha, is happy, I'm happy and she looks great! Would definitely recommend Pet Styles in Motion's services!!
