Dogfather Mobile Grooming

I will admit, the people there are very nice. I will give this place a star for that. Besides that, we had a terrible experience!! The people there are lazy. They made us book another appointment just because we wanted to cut our dog instead of shaving her. We left the house for a little and came back to see that they shaved her. Our dog was wining like crazy because they cut her. I really hope I get my money back. Do not waste your money on this!!!

This is the second time I've contacted Aimee and Dogfather Grooming for my cat Willow, whose a long hair cat, Aimee was professional and fast and did a great job! I also have to say the last groomer we had, for some reason Willow's hair would grow back in patches and look sickly - after Willow's first groom with Aimee it was like she had a whole new coat of hair, soft and healthy and grew back nicely. I get her groomed in the warmer months because of the hairballs and Aimee does a great job and of course it's easy for me to not have to drive back and forth to get her - highly recommend and let your friends know they groom cats!! that's hard to come by!

This was my first time using The Dogfather. Everything went very smoothly and professional. My groomer Stephanie was very nice. I was worried my puppy might give her a hard time because he is afraid of the blow dryer. She reassured me it would be fine not to worry. She knocked on the door about an hour later he was happy wagging his tail and she did an excellent job with his haircut. Will definitely be using them again. I was leery with all the mixed reviews but have to say my experience was great.

I have never wanted to use more "commercial" grooming services, I have always believed in the little mom and pop places. I have a larger dog, but he is terribly afraid of human that he does not know. This makes grooming nearly impossible. No one wants to bother with a dog that will be "tougher" to work with. Matt did not blink an eye when I said my guy was a big dog and terribly fearful. Not to mention my dog was a mess due to health problems I have had this year. When I say this was the best grooming experience and best grooming that my dog has ever had is not a lie. Jess, the groomer that arrived, was immediately gentle and very sweet to my dog. She let me put him in the van and an hour later my woolly mammoth of a dog was changed into a glowing beautiful groomed pup. I told Jess to just do the best she could and she went above any beyond. My dog was a mess. In my dogs 3 years, a groomer hasn't done such a great job. My dog was also not a nervous wreck after his grooming, he was relaxed, not skittish, even said bye to Jess in his shy way. I knew that he was taken very good care of while being groomed. I will not go anywhere else now. I highly recommend TheDogFather and Jess, they really do know what they are doing and how to handle any type of dog. I no longer have to fear having my "baby" groomed.
