Great with my dog. He has ivdd and can't be restrained by the neck like most groomers do ... They assured me that he would not be handled around his neck and he looked great when I picked him up. Very reasonable price. Will definitely go back.

It was my dogs first time being left at a boarding facility, I was pleased by what i read on their website and happy that they offered cage free play time with other dogs at the nearby daycare. I was asked to provide all his vaccines and his feces sample had to read negative, which it did, in order to play with other dogs. When I dropped him off I was very clear in stating that I wanted him to play with other dogs for half day on both days that he'd be staying being that he loves going to the dog park and interacting with other dogs. Unfortunately, when I went to pick him up and I was cashing out I noticed the price was low I asked did he play with other dogs like I asked, and their response was, "well sometimes other dogs can be a lil more aggressive than others so to prevent anything we just do one on one play time with staff for a lil while." I was very upset because 1. If there's an aggressive dog then they shouldn't be put with the dogs that are non aggressive that actually want to play. Those are the dogs that should get the one on one play time. 2. Why advertise cage free play time with other dogs if your not going to do it. And 3. When I very clearly stated that I wanted my dog to play with other dogs if that was going to be an issue to begin with, then something should have been said, but instead I was lied to and said yes he'll get his half day cage free play time and he did not. Also I mentioned when I was booking that it was his first time boarding and that I found them online and I still did not get the 10% discount that they advertise online. It would have been nice to get some type of progress report to see how he did or if they really even walked him and how often he used the bathroom or if they really even played one on one with him but they didn't mention anything to me. I won't say this is my last time going but I sure do hope they take this review into consideration.

I went to have my longhair cat groomed at Prospect Boarding & Grooming and was very disappointed with the service I received. The front desk receptionist was very friendly, nice, and quite welcoming; however, the groomer who specializes in cat grooming was extremely rude, unprofessional, and made me feel like a bad pet owner and an idiot in front of other customers.
I was asked a number of questions by the groomer about my cat and every response I had (most of which I had no idea the proper response to as this was my first time ever having my cat groomed) was met with an exasperated sigh, a blatant look of disapproval, and a short annoyed response that left me feeling uncomfortable about even leaving my cat there. I was told I would be contacted around 11AM for pickup as she "did not want to leave the cat in there for so long with all the big dogs." At 12:15PM I had not heard anything and decided to call for a status update. I was informed that the cat had been ready for pickup for a while. It makes me wonder how long my cat, who is not accustomed to dogs, would have been sitting there if I had not followed-up.
Upon pickup, the groomer brought out the pet carrier with my cat in it, DROPPED it on the floor stating: "here's unhappy Paige (cat's name). Unhappy Paige," and walked back into the grooming area. There was no explanation on how the grooming went or follow-up with me about care. The grooming was very choppy and uneven in many areas of her coat. I will NOT be returning to Prospect Boarding & Grooming and would advise against others bringing their pets, especially their cats for grooming there.

Awful experience. We called and spoke to them extensively about our dog, who is a recent rescue and very anxious. They told us we need proof of vaccines, which is standard, and we brought them with us to the appointment. It wasn't until we got there that they told us we needed the kennel cough vaccine, which is not one that is usually required by groomers. We had taken off from work to bring our dog in and they refused to groom him. They were actually pretty rude about it. They barely apologized for not telling us about the vaccine in advance - they just said "oh, the person who makes the appointment usually tells you by phone". It was very unprofessional and a big inconvenience for us.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had made a reservation for my dog but needed to cancel. I was unaware of the 7 day refund policy due to a lack of communication. The staff was very professional and polite in handling the situation. Although they were unable to give me a refund, the manager made accommodations to fit my needs. Definitely recommend this place for boarding and grooming needs.
