Pet supply plus is a great local chain pet store. Every time I am in the store the employees are very helpful and kind. They have a self service dog washing station which is great for those days at the dog park when the dog is covered in mud. You can buy a wash card which is $25 for 5 washes, definitely a good deal. They also price match amazon which is awesome (petsmart in gurnee does not price match Amazon).

My favorite store! Excellent selection, fair prices - they even price match online retailers, and great customer service. Wonderful partner for our rescue too.

Always willing to help. From Amber the groomer (Tip her big!) help finding a special cat food flavor, to the 2 cashiers and the gentleman who loaded my car that waited on me and my dog today. Exceptional customer service, huge selections, and great prices.

The team was so helpful! My dog just ran out of her prescription food and they helped me pick something that would continue to manage her weight, but was much cheaper! They even offered to carry the 24lb bag out to my car...in the rain! This has quickly become my go to store for pet supplies.
