Petco Animal Supplies

I am a regular and loyal customer to the Petco in Gulfport. Well, I use to be but not after today. I called the store to make sure they had the fish that I needed, the guy they did have plenty in stock. So, I make the drive from the west side of Long Beach, go in and look around, another guy came up and asked if I needed help and I told him that I called and was wanting some fish. Turns out they didn’t have the fish that I made the trip for!! But yet I had just called and the guy said he had plenty! I am beyond furious!! Petco lost my business today. I’m sure they don’t care but this was ridiculous! I will be talking to management about this! That guy was so rude when I questioned him about why he lied to me over the phone. He needs to be fired and I will see that that happens.

This store sucks!!! Not very nice and pretty much just careless. They are supposed to close at 9pm throughout the week, but apparently they close when they want. Therefore the store actually closes at 8:50pm... computers are already shut down and everyone is standing around waiting to walk out the door. I rushed to make it there in time to only have them say their closed and can not help me. Which means now my animals have to go without their food tonight!!!! They do not care and will shut the door in your face 5-10 mins before they should even be closed!!!!! The

Love the staff there. Always friendly and mostly professional. Sometimes it takes a while to get helped but i often concern that may be because thier understaffed at times. Very clean and organized. Would have rated 5 stars if it wasn't for the poor health of the marine life that always have some form of fish disease like ick for example. Overall my favorite go to pet store! 😊

We are from Tennessee and we came down here on a vacation. Our dog was around another dog and ended up catching fleas! We tried to get him into various Pet Hospitals to get him a flea bath and everyone was booked...we even tried Pet Smart and they couldn't get him in until Tuesday. We called Petco and they had a same day appointment for him and it was a great package deal for a very low price of $30.00 which included the flea bath, expressing his anal glands, nail trim, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and also a 15 minute extra brushing time. Overall Emily and the staff were very nice, helpful, and VERY knowledgeable, also we are back home now and are happy to see that Shorty is flea free! :)
