That woman working there was totally unfriendly and crampy. 
Very bad feeling, just how she looks at you if you buy nothing.

We definitely preferred the Crystal Forest Museum across the street. The woman in the Petrified Forest Museum followed us around everywhere we walked and they don't allow photos. The museum part was just a tiny alcove without a lot of info, but did have some cool pieces. Their prices are reasonable. Crystal Forest has the campground and bathrooms, Petrified Forest does not.

This place generally feels unwelcome from extremely rude staff to signage that says "bathrooms for paying customers ONLY".

Nice variety of gemstones, fossil and petrified wood. On the pricey side on some things but others are cheaper than I found anywhere else.
