PetSmart

Had a cat abandon her kittens. Spoke to one of the nurses at the pet hospital inside and she was very helpful. As with any specialty department store, the prices are a bit higher than I normally pay for pet supplies, but the selection is better overall.

Was able to bring in our dog at the last minute. The hospital staff were very professional and courteous.

That day I went in Pet Smart was the first time I had ever been to that particular Pet Smart. There is one over on I-55N that is at least twice as big. (That is why I only gave it 4 stars.) It is divided up conviently, depending on if you need cat or dog supplies. If you enter the store from the parking lot and begin going down the center aisle you can look up and see the names of what is on that aisle. On the right side are the cat supplies and probably some other small animal supplies. On the left side are the dog supplies. We were there for a collar. It was kinda hard finding the size we needed. We have a Maltese that weighs over 20 lbs. They had so many precious tiny pink collars. Well we have a male and pink just wouldn't do. We ended up getting him a purple collar. Of course we looked at everything on that aisle. We even picked his Christmas Present out, a waterfall water bowl. Running water is fresher longer than one that simply sits there. We headed to the checkout and stopped at the flea area, they have every kind of flea treatment you can imagine. Then at the checkout I found a squirrel with a squeaky in it's head and another one in it's tail. In the body was cellophane paper. He loves it! He loves his collar too. He hates taking it off even for a bath. You can take your cat and dog inside the store with you. Not to run loose, but to see what type things he or she likes. In the parking lot are some keep it neat stations with bags to pick up your dogs poo and drop it at the shop most appropriate drop site. Then go inside and shop at your friendly, local Pet Smart.

Good staff and clean store. They are also super helpful getting things for me that I can't reach.

I enjoy going to the PetSmart in Flowood. There is one lady is very bubbly and helpful. She works with the fish area.
