Dr. Philip E. Stieg is a super down to earth doctor. He is knowledgeable and compassionate about his work and patients. He completed surgery on my aunt and it’s like a miracle how normal her life is compared to how she was before Dr. Stieg’s brain surgery! I’m his patient now and I have complete confidence in his work! I don’t live in the state he works in and I’m willing to fly to him if I need surgery. I wouldn’t want anybody else touching my brain

Brain surgery, even if it’s routine, is scary. Dr Steig listened carefully, didn’t rush me to a decision while offering his guidance. Very expert and considerate. I was glad for his support and guidance. And I had a great outcome.

Had MVD surgery with Stieg in July 2022. It was successful and his team has made sure all my questions were answered before and after surgery.

Amazing care. When other doctors refused to treat my trigeminal neuralgia, I felt hopeless. Dr. Stieg found the issue and got me in for surgery. I’m now 1 week post op and I feel like I have my life back. He and his team were available for every question I had and I feel I received the best care. When I found out I needed brain surgery last year to remove a hemorrhaging mass, I was absolutely terrified. After numerous meetings with different surgeons, I had scheduled a consultation with Dr. Stieg. From the moment I met him, I felt at ease. My stay in the hospital couldn’t have been more comfortable, thanks to the nurses at Weill Cornell who were all so attentive and made me feel safe during my time there. At my three month follow up, Dr. Stieg took the time to talk to me and really see how I was doing. As I sit here writing this, just two days after my one year check up, Dr. Stieg delivered the news I have been praying for. My scans came back all clear- and that is all due to his precise skill and excellence. I owe him my life. Thank you Dr. Stieg, from the bottom of my heart.

Excellent staff. Very efficient. Front desk, the nurse, and all the assistants completed every single step in a timely manner. The nurse was a sweetheart. Very pleasant visit with Dr. Stieg as well. He was accurate, informed, and helpful. My mom and I left the office feeling relieved and hopeful. In addition, there's not much one can say about Dr. Stieg because he is so knowledgeable that by asking the right questions, you'd have all the answers you need. Just by reading Dr. Stieg's credentials you see what an excellent doctor he is! I am so happy I was able to schedule a visit with Dr. Stieg and I consider us lucky that he is going to take care of my mother. Highly, highly recommended.
