I have seen Doug Tuner for over 3 years and am a cash paying customer. I have referred many guys to Phillips Clinic for Testosterone Replacement Therapy. I tried to get a copy of my medical records and the front desk staff charged me $25 dollars for a blank CD. After I called them and tried to fix the problem they emailed it to me for free. A week later, I get a letter saying they will no longer see me as a patient. After being fired as a patient for THEIR mistake I CANNOT recommend this clinic. I even called to verify the reason for being fired and was told they would not release why. Also, I got a random bill for an appointment I never had nor went to. After calling them about the bill, they miraculously figured out it was an error and canceled the fee. So if you want rude and incompetent front desk staff and bills for services you never received go to Phillips Clinic. If not, find another clinic and save your $300 "new patient" fee they charge you.
Like many others who have psted negative reviews - Here's another one. I ignored the negative reviews and decided to schedule an appt anyway- BIG MISTAKE. After showing up for appt. and them wanting to run a gammot of unnecessary tests- I asked HOW MUCH WILL I BE CHARGED? and they had no idea and stated it wasn't their problem. I NEVER received any services because I'm not going to agree to anything without knowing how much I'm EXPECTED to pay. THANK GOD I walked out. I then received a certified letter of them "withdrawing from further professional attendance upon me" GOOD- There are plenty of other doctors and office that ARE actually Professional. I had a feeling things were not going to go well when I spent the first 30 minutes of my appt completing paperwork all pertaining to them getting paid and literally 1 page on my actual health. I should have listened to the previous reviews. All I can say is- you've been warned.
Went to Phillips Clinic for a simple, routine annual checkup but was billed more than $4,400 because of errors and misdiagnosis. Doctor Phillips charged me $250 for a 20-minute phone call that he was late for. In fact, he was regularly 30-45 minutes late to all his appointments, used profanity during Telemedicine calls and made disparaging comments about staff, insurance companies and referral doctors while aggressively trying to sell his own health supplements. He misunderstood my concerns which resulted in costly and incorrect billing. His staff scheduled me for blood work weeks after the visit so the $2,200 of tests were not covered by my insurance. The Phillips Clinic Staff referred me to the wrong specialist and assured me services would be covered when in fact, they were not – I was billed $1,100 for that specialist visit! Trust me, if you're looking for a new doctor, avoid this one like the plague!
I've gone to Dr. Phillips and his staff well over 15 years and have received excellent care. He and his staff are very professional yet they are all kind hearted. They take the time to listen to you and hear what is going on with you and what your needs are. So many Drs. come into the examining room with one hand on the door. Dr. Phillips and his staff are not like that. They have given me excellent care and they will give you exceptional care. I have recommended Dr. Phillips to many of my friends. Dr. Phillips is well respected in the medical community.
Beware. Scammers. Claimed to do both primary care and pain management. I was lied to. Was told at my appointment they don't do pain management. Overcharged for unwanted eks by hundreds. Didn't see a doctor but a nurse who prescribed expensive steroids for Enphosema which I can't use because it would interfere with Gloucoma. A doctor would have known this.
I went to this location because they were a service provider through my health care and are close to my job. I should have checked yelp first! The staff is not very friendly, or well trained on their computer system or blood draws. It was one issue after another in each office visit. They ran my debit card 4 times to process the co-pay at the first visit and each time they said it would not go through. I ended up paying $125 for the co-pay because I also wrote them a check. It took two weeks to get those charges back. I asked for a couple of blood panel tests, and the next morning they drew 4 vials of blood, which I asked they draw from my hand due to difficulties with my arm veins. They stuck me three times in the arm to get the blood as they said my veins kept collapsing, they don't listen very well. I had to wait 4 weeks to get the test results and when I went back, oops they forgot to order tests. Then asked if I wanted them to repeat the tests, but probably wasn't necessary since I appeared to be fine now and my symptoms had gone away. Then as I leave pondering should I just reschedule this AGAIN, the lady tells me on the way out that I haven't paid my co-pay for the test results. I've never paid a co-pay for test results and many people I know also do not pay co-pays for test results. I called after paying to speak with the manager and she said that when you come to their office its considered "care" and with "care" is the associated fee "co-pay" as if I were dumb. She was very condescending and I told her after the problems I've had in three doctors visits, they just lost my business. AND WHO CHARGES PEOPLE FOR SOMETHING, when they didn't even provide the service you requested!
All staff very courteous, wait time was minimal, overall great experience
Been to this clinic a few times and the doctors are very nice but the people that worked in the front Cheyenne and the back Gina the manager are horrible. No manners and very disrespectful and rude. No idea if Dr. Philips know that his employees doesn't have manners. Dr. Mitchell Phillips YOU SHOULD LOOK AT YOU RUDE EMPLOYEES!!!! They will bring down your business.. SMH
Dr. Phillips is a pill pusher thanks to him my mother over dosed three times. Reported him many times but the system works in his favor. He prescribed over 150 narcotic pills each month to my mom in a month, for many years at least my mom kicked the habit in the end. I hope there is a special place in hell for him when his time is up. It is amazing just how many people know who and what he is and that he still has a licence to prescribe death.
the nurse was the most rude person I have ever dealt with. Dr. Turner was ok. I won't go back after dealing with her. I sent 5 messages over a month and got one call back and when I did she was rude. if you want tests done ten schedule them. I don't have a problem with that. If not scheduled it doesn't get done.!!!!!
