I guess we should have read the reviews before using PhoneMax. We handed in a phone which was working perfectly, except it had a cracked screen. After they 'fixed' the screen we discovered the phone was not responsive couldn't be turned on AND the home button was not pushable. So we returned. They fixed the home button. The phone remained unresponsive even to a factory reset. I.e. they fixed the screen, but in the process they tanked the phone. They claimed this was the state we had brought it into the shop, and refused to consider evidence that the phone had been functional but with only a broken screen when we brought it to them. It ended up being a multi-day saga, and really upsetting because I would have backed it up before taking it in if I had known there was a risk that letting them fix the screen would tank the entire phone. In the end they never admitted that it was their screen repair that had damaged the phone beyond use, which was really frustrating and a further waste of everyone's time. The only redeeming part of the experience is that they refunded us for the screen fix, so at least now I have $59 back, though still no functional phone. Read the negative reviews before proceeding. Im sure they are nice people but their treatment of my phone really messed up my ability to do anything for several days. Im grateful they tried to fix it at all, but just acknowledging their mistake whatever it was would go a long way.

I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs there devices fixed. I love supporting my people who take the initiative to apply themselves and hustle the right way and do good business. With that being said I give the 5 out of 5 stars.

Great place for fast and professional service. I've had my broken screen replaced two times here. It's always done within an hour and the price is less than $100. Today I went in for a third time for screen repair, but it turned out it was simply my screen protector that was broken. They could easily have charged me for full screen repair, but they were honest and only addressed the protector. I found this place by accident several years ago. I live in East Point, but I will continue to travel down to Five Points for any phone related repairs here. Great place.

Love this shop! They fixed my phone for no charge as it was just junk in the port. Happy, friendly, and good service. Will be back.

Bad business doesn't communicate well rude & disrespectful and will lie to your face. Try to do business with you own people yet end up having to go somewhere else to get better customer service. Doesn't deserve one star but had to do so to post a review.

The service was fast, they was professional and nice. The price was the lowest in the city. I will be only going to them for now on

THEY HAVE INCONSISTENT PRICING AND DIDNT PROBABLY FIX MY PHONE AND WHEN I CAME BACK 8 DAYS LATER BECAUSE MY PHONE WAS STILL HAVING THE SAME ISSUE THINKING THEY WOULD UNDERSTAND THEY TOLD ME EITHER PAY THE SAME RATE FOR THE WORK THEY DIDNT DO PROBABLY THE FIRST TIME OR TO GO SOME WHERE ELSE. Worst phone repair experience I ever had. Highly recommend going somewhere else. Came in with a slightly cracked screen but otherwise fully fucntioning phone, just wanting the screen fixed. After they put on the new screen, face ID was not working. I was asked to come back later that day and when I did, was sent away and asked to come back Monday instead. It was quite a trek to have to go back and forth thrice - especially since I had been explicitly asked to come back the same day. When I finally was able to have my phone looked at again, they still couldn't fix it. I requested a refund since I came in with a functioning device and was given a faulty device back. To do this, they insisted on taking the new screen back and installed a broken screen that has significantly worse side effects than my original. I got my refund, but now I am left with uber bills for failed repair and a phone that is significantly worse off than when I came in. Overall, I have paid money to have a broken phone from this service. Please find somewhere else to get your device checked.

This man runs his business the old school way. He felt he fell short in my experience with his business, and sweetened the deal for me to make up for it. I go here for all my phone repair and I beat my phone up a lot. Unassuming lil spot with fast white glove service and fair prices.
