Delicious food and nice staff! I've been dining here over the past year and have had great experiences. The food is fresh and not too expensive. $14 for a regular build your own pasta bowl with chicken. I typically mix the Alfredo sauce and the Diavolo sauce. The staff is really nice and interacts with their customers. I look forward to coming here for lunch and getting out of the house while working from home.
Super convenient! I was able to order my food straight from google. GPS got me there in 5 and my food was ready as soon as I walked in. Also, best frickin protein bowl I’ve ever had literally in my whole life. So good. Will be back a few times a week A++
I have been to Piada numerous times but will not go back to this location. I ordered takeout that my boyfriend picked up; I am unable to leave my home due to COVID and wanted a salad. Upon opening the very small salad, the first thing I noticed was that they gave me no dressing. It’s a dry salad. Then, I noticed the brown avocado. Then, I noticed the lack of candied pecans. This was a salad on their menu, not one I made myself. It should be a standard salad for them. I called and spoke to the chef who did not apologize, did not offer to make a new salad, and just refunded me my payment. He took no ownership. The salads I’ve gotten in person have been good, but I am very disappointed by this to go salad, the lack of attention to detail, and the lack of respect by the chef when I called. I likely will not go to Piada on Memorial again due to this experience.
Piada is a nice place. After passing it on Memorial Drive literally dozens if not hundreds of times, I decided to go in, and I'm glad I did. Piada may be commercial, but it doesn't feel jaded or hyped. Upon arrival, I was assisted by a very nice food preparer who answered my questions about what's available - congenial service, to be sure. My order was a pepperoni pastry stick not the best description, but delicious, I promise and a small bowl of penne pasta with various toppings. In addition to regular Pepsi products, they have another fountain tap featuring Piada-branded flavors like orange and berry sodas. The orange was tasty, sort of like an Orangina if you've ever had one of those. The decor of the place is pretty - high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows facing Memorial Drive, with stylish, spacious seating and fixtures. This is a place you could bring a date if you want something nice, but not overly expensive. My personal preferences - and why I didn't give a full 5 stars I wanted to give 4.5, but that's not possible and 4.4 is the average rating anyway! - were for the music and the sauce. The music playing over the sound system had a bit of a "bistro/techno" vibe to it. In and of itself, that's not a deal breaker, but so many businesses seem to default to that as background music these days. The origins of Piada are the founder's visits to Italy. Why not Italian standards? Or jazz smooth or classic? Regarding the sauce, the pomodoro was good also, but a bit on the sweet side. I prefer my sauces to be saltier. Again, not a deal breaker by any means, and many of you will like the pomodoro, I'm sure. If you go to Piada for the first time, I suggest starting with a small pasta bowl - the serving size is quite ample. If you find that doesn't satisfy you, the regular serving will be more than enough. And don't forget to order a pepperoni stick - I plan on making a meal of several of those the next time I go. I will try the actual piada wraps on another trip. I enjoyed the food so much, I had to say a happy word to the chef, who was actively at work - and, apparently, is the general manager! Well done, sir! Abbondanza!
Wow. This place AMAZING. My partner and I drove in from Austin just to try it. We heard they are opening two locations in ATX and San Antonio this year. The manager Justin served us and then came out and asked us how it was, delicious, they know! The staff is bilingual which is a plus. Clean dining room & bath rooms.Food: 5/5
legitimately great. love spicy food, so the spicy chicken was a must. Penne pasta, alfredo sauce and spicy chicken. definitely different than what i came in expecting to eat, but very much enjoyed it. ya’ll should do bread sticks or garlic bread too. just a thought.
Tried Farmers market and Basil Pesto, they are decent felt the quantity is small for the farmers market that I had to go for another dish Wish they had some protein option for vegetarians as well. Vegetarian options: They have good vegetarian options. I tried Farmers Market and Basil Pesto.
First time here - trying different things. This place falls into quick food/service ordering if you are short on time. We had spaghetti with grilled chicken, Diavolo penne with Italian sausage, and carbonara angel hair with grilled chicken. We all liked it. Decor is nice, friendly service and prices are reasonable - $12 bowls. Definitely be back when craving some quick pasta.
If you want a unique place to go for some delicious food, go here! It's Italian street food...what's that? Well, it's a unique combination of flavors in a bowl or on a large tortilla wrap. My boyfriend and I had pasta bowls and could not have ended up with 2 more different flavor profiles if we tried. Both were so good! Definitely going back again Vegetarian options: It is a build your own kind of place, so you can add what you want and leave what you don't.
Pretty fast when preorder and then pickup. Usually not too crowded according to my last couple of visits. Good and delicious food options and ok prices. Unrelated and yet related to the location of the restaurant is that there is a big mess on 610/290 so that coming to and leaving may present a bit of challenge in terms of time taken.
