I normally don’t give reviews, however, my experience with customer service definitely calls for it. I gave it a star because some of the employees were very pleasant. One of their employees I shall not give a name definitely needs to go for proper training & learn how to speak to customers. She needs to learn & understand that a thriving business is all about customers. She was very rude and just nasty. I will never refer anyone not even my worst enemy to go to this place.
Had a great experience shopping for new frames for both my son and me. Jean was extremely attentive and super helpful in pulling different styles for us to try. We did not feel rushed despite the high volume of customers waiting outside, which was very much appreciated. Thank you, Pildes!
I have been a customer for over four years. They are part of my union's vision plan. This particular shop is the standard for all others. From in-depth examinations to the prepping of glasses, they are professional and thorough. Add to that their caring touch as people, and you have a first-class operation! I highly-recommend them!
Went here for the first time today and it was a good experience. Did an exam for contacts. Appointment was right when they first opened so they weren't ready for me immediately but that was no big deal. Once inside, the staff was friendly, attentive, quick, and easy. No complaints at all. Wouldn't hesitate to come back for my eye exam here. And the cost of the contacts was similar to the cost when I buy them online, which was nice. Previous eye doctors have charged significantly inflated prices.
All around fantastic service. I’ve gotten my last few pairs of prescription glasses here and they all arrived faster than promised. One of my newly purchased sunglasses was giving me a headache because the frame didn’t suit me. I went back and they replaced it for free.
Look no further. This is where you need to go! Dr. Hyde was very helpful. I was fitted with a trial pair of contact lenses for astigmatism. They are the best fit I have ever had. Further, the shop is well run. The staff is friendly and efficient. I was in and out quickly with no wait time. After the trial pair was a success, I ordered my lenses from Pildes with ease. They are even helping with a rebate offer - thankful as I'm a grad student with no eye exam insurance! Overall, 5 stars ...or higher!... if that was an option. Thanks, Pildes.

I love this place. The kind of customer service you get from Pildes is nothing like you have experienced before. The doctors are amazing. The staff that help is always on point. Especially Jay. I had an urgent needs for contacts during this Corona times, I reached out via email, ordered my contacts and have them coming to my house soon. They were on it and I truly appreciated everything. I will continue to come back to you guys for years to come! THANK YOU!
I sat on my glasses and broke the bands holding the lenses into my semi-rimless frames. Brought them in this morning and Lauren had them fixed up for me by lunch time. Wonderful service! When these frames finally go for good, I'll be coming right back to Pildes again for another pair.
TL;DR We came back were there two weeks ago to order a second pair of glasses for myself and a couple of glasses for my wife. We were less than 10 minutes late, they kept us waiting at the door, let us in, waited till it was 15 minutes late, and told us to leave with a charge for being late. On the ***Christmas Eve***. The best part of our experience was them calling us back two times 6 and 20 minutes later asking to come back. We will never come back to this place. I can't see a single reason to be so rude. We were shocked, never experienced such customer service. Moreover, 2 weeks before our first visit, we were on time, but they kept us waiting for 15 minutes or more, and we had no issues with that. This time, we were standing in front of the door, ***they saw us***. My wife told me to ring, but I was not worried at all, just kept waiting. I could not be imaging the clock was ticking. When they told us to leave, after letting in, I asked if we could wait or reschedule, but they insisted that we should leave with a late fee charge. Even their policy states that we could ask and be seen "If a patient arrives more than 10 minutes late for their appointment, the patient will be given the option of either being seen that day as a walk-in, if the schedule permits, or rescheduled for a later date."
