Pine Creek High School

Great school - academically rigorous and very successful in grad rate and college acceptance. Sports programs are great, although overly competitive. Selection of classes are limited in some areas (e.g. Spanish only available). Most teachers are great and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Mr Jeff Back, DECA teacher - free learning environment lead state championships.

Heard the admin was recently banning group prayer sessions that the students put together during THEIR freetime?! Wow! This is America and they have freedom of speech. Especially during their public freetime. I’m sure it’s okay for the kids to run around cursing and talking about inappropriate things but God forbid they ever pray. Y’all disgust me, get a life.

Religion shouldn't be enforced in classrooms, but banning individual prayer and prayer groups is a blatant constitutional violation. I put this on the admin, not the teachers or students. Otherwise good school and neighborhood.

Okay, this school is really good if you compare it to the other schools in D20. The test scores are high and they offer different curriculums determining which field you wish to go into. Liberty only has performing arts and they excel at that. I don't know what Rampart has except for a swim team, and my son and his team beat them at that still. We don't have high suicide rates like DCC. So overall a really well balanced school, with opportunities for everyone. Don't like the kids though, they are not nice helpful people. Well, the ones i've met anyway.
