Came here for a Father's day dinner. I love the interior and the ambiance. The view of KC is great wish one of those apartment buildings were shorter. It's a little noisy. The staff and server were great. This is not a cheap restaurant, but the portions are big. Everything was fresh and tasty. Would I eat here again?? YES. So what needs improvement?? The menu needs more gluten free options. The entries are all marked, but the other parts of the menu is. Please fix this. Parking: The restaurant parking is behind the building. If you cannot climb a large spiral staircase, you will need to park behind the building which has a handy friendly entrance. Also there is no convenient handy accessible parking on the back side. Absolutely amazing atmosphere, appealing food, large portions and very delicious food and drinks. The choice are so many to choose from as well as the huge choice of drinks. Our server was professional, fun and friendly. The establishment followed COVID Safety by ensuring space between tables were secure. The entire experience was amazing, the cleanliness inside and outside, arts displays all over the walls and I enjoyed the vintage European style everywhere. I will definitely be back. We went for the valentines special for 2022 and the four course meal options we affordable and perfect.

3.5/5 stars overall experience. Food was good but prices were not. 9 dollars for a tiny champagne class 50/50 OJ Champagne, that they buy for 9 dollars a bottle. Fantastic server, cannot recall the gentlemen’s name but he was great. Not sure if I’ll be back, plenty of cheaper options closer to my house with similar quality.

You pay for the atmosphere here. The presentation, service, and the atmosphere was great, but the food was just alright. I got the shrimp & scallop pasta which had a lot of flavor. My husband got the salmon which was dry and overall not much flavor. And my dad had the ribeye steak which was very bland- definitely didn’t taste like a $50 meal. We wouldn’t eat here again

Piropos is ‘over the top’ in terms of ambiance, staff, service and quality of food. My wife and I were celebrating an anniversary. The staff extended their congratulations to us a number of times and surprised us with a dessert after dinner. In summary, expect great service, excellent food and a lovely atmosphere for dining and/or special occasions.

Piropos is an amazing restaurant with incredible service and delicious food. I went in not knowing what to expect, but left there knowing that this will be one of my go to restaurants whenever I am in town. I had the pork chops and they were the most tender and flavorful pork chops I had ever had. I went there with a group and we shared off of plates. Everything from the scallops to the shrimp to the steak was absolutely delicious. Now, this place is pricey. That said, I guarantee that you will not leave there disappointed with the experience and the price will be a second thought. Perfect place to go on a date night or another special occasion. I will return.

I should have left a review for Piropos a long time ago. We’ve been there a few times and their food has always been good. Last night we went there for restaurant week. They had a glitch in their reservation system which allowed more bookings than they normally do. We had to had to wait a little over an hour to be seated but it was fine. The food was worth the wait. Once we got seated, the food came out fast. From the starters to the dessert, everything was great! The empanadas were flaky and flavorful. The ceviche was fresh. Loved the lime flavor with a little kick to it. The lobster bisque soup was delicious! We’ve had it at other places and it just tastes fishy but this one did not. It was creamy and they didn’t skimp out on the shrimp and lobster. I ordered the pork chops and my husband ordered the rib eye. Both were PERFECTLY cooked! The meat literally melted in our mouths! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chef was on point last night! We had a couple of cocktails as well and all were made great! The lemon cake and caramel cheesecake were delicious as well. We really had a great night despite the wait. All the staff did their best to seat everyone quickly and the service was on point as well. Our server, Jackie, took very good care of us and the owner was very nice and stopped by our table to say hi since we were sitting at the owner’s table. It was really a great experience. This place is definitely worth the money for the food and the experience!

We came to Piropos for our 10 year anniversary dinner on the recommendation from a friend. The service was good and the food was good. It wasn't great and it wasn't just Ok, but good. The food quality was good and everything tasted good. Nothing blew our minds except of the bill. $205 for 2 people w/ 1 appetizer and 2 cocktails each. Price to experience was a smidge out of balance of the KC area IMO.

I recommend making a reservation on the website. Upon entering we were greeted promptly and congratulated on our anniversary. Both the upstairs dining room & bar atmosphere were perfect. Our server was fantastic. She was funny and down-to-earth and also very knowledgeable when we had questions. We ordered pork chops, salmon, empanadas & churros for dessert & it was all delicious! Thank you for a fun night!

Cooks are horrible. This place needs to get either better cooks or not be a high end restaurant. Ordered a $50 steak and told them I wanted it Medium. It came out well done! So they had to send it back and have them re-cook it. Then it came back medium rare if not a little closer to rare side. Cooks are horrible their and don’t even know how to cook a steak the right way. Management better wake up and make some changes. Other than that, the atmosphere was great and the food is quality there if they can cook it right. Not impressed
