Pizza Motus

I am not even a big pizza fan, but man, the pizza here!!! We had a hh here, everything was fantastic! The owner Will told us that they ferment the flour imported from Rome, with a minimum amout of yeast and no sugar added, for 96 hours. The yeast is digested during this process. The crust is super airy, love it! Every tray Will brings out, gone in a minute. So good, and you just have to try it for yourself!!

Highly recommended. 5/5. Delicious pizza, yummy hot sauce o’come on hot sauce and a very nice decor/vibe. The crust is particularly delicious and unlike any i’ve personally eaten before. I ordered a personal caprese while my partner had a personal pepperoni pizza. Personal size is enough for two people, to be honest. They have gluten-free sandwiches and salads.

My first time here and I wasn’t disappointed. Cozy little place with absolutely great food. Tried the rosemary chips yum and La Francesca White pizza; the large is a pretty good portion for 3 people. Will definitely return, highly recommended, great place for family and friends, grab a bottle of wine and head over to Pizza Motus; it can be a bit hard to find though since it’s tucked in the corner by Little Matt’s but look out for the green and white canopy and a neat little take out window!

Crispy prosciutto. That should be all you need to know. This pizza is GREAT!! The personal size is more than enough for one person and did I mention the crispy prosciutto? Put it on everything!! The vegetarion box pizza is a mountain of fresh, seasonal vegetables that basically gives a salad as well. They even have a walk up window to get it by the slice/square!! And, above all else, don't forget the crispy prosciutto.

It was "eh" at best... unfortunately the food LOOKED a lot better than it tasted. I ordered the zucchini fries and the Hawaiian pizza. The fries themselves we're decent but the sauce they came with looked and tasted like watered down ranch it was terrible. The pizza tasted good for the first couple bites and then quickly became hard and dried out. The crust was had no flavor and was very chewy. I probably won't be going back.

We visited here and got a veggie pizza, and the appetizers. The pizza meet most of my expectations and was above average. The staff was also incredibly sweet and kind too us, and customer service is probably one of their top points.

Will Gruy's new restaurant, Pizza Motus: Roman Inspired Cucina, a Roman street-food-inspired pizza restaurant planned to open in West University,  A pizza inspired movement is upon us. Bringing family style italian concepts to Houston. Imported flour from Italy. Excellent fresh made rosemary potato chips. They are still in the soft opening phase so be patient. Wishing this place well on day 2 of its opening.

Lovely little pizza place with a simple menu and good food. The staff is friendly. The place was packed while we were there. Overall this was a fun dining experience.

Another 5 star rating! I’m not normally a fan of a veggie pizza - but we got one with added sausage - wow!

Excellent family-friendly space with a great menu of Roman-style pizzas and beautiful sandwiches. The servers are attentive, friendly, and really know the menu. There is a water/ice station, or you can purchase bottled drinks and water. The pizza is rectangular and fits neatly into the serving platters. The walls are adorned with great artwork and the windows filled with pizza books, setting up a delightful ambiance. Very impressive eatery.
