This is a really nice Irish pub. The interior and decor are pretty typical of a proper Irish pub, and it's rather large on the inside. They have great food here and we've been a few times. On this visit we just got apps. Sitting on the bar side, you still get table service but you seat yourself (you have to wait to be seated on the restaurant side). We got the 5 alarm wings and they were spicy but not super hot - I'm not complaining :-) We also got the truffle fries and Murphy skins. Both were pretty good. Overall, great service and great food. We'll be back.

Playwright used to be awesome. Large portions for a fair price. Went back today and instead of a reasonably sized bowl of chili, they bring out this tiny cup they're calling a "crock" of about three spoons of chili for $7. I asked if they had a bowl and the waitress got sassy and said that's the only size they have now. Their chili is the only reason me and my friends went there. Needless to say, we won't be going back. What a rip off. They're going in the wrong direction.

Awesome atmosphere and some of the best bar tenders in the area. Great food and great value. They will always have the game on you're looking for but still have an old timey feel to the bar area. Great live music often too.

When I first walked in my eyes lit up. The decor is fabolous!!! So much wood and two fireplaces, so cozy and quaint. The bar is separate from the dining room which is really nice. I had the Irish coffee which was incredibly strong. A bit too strong for me. They have Irish food such as Corn Beef and Cabbage. I do suggest you try the smoked salmon appetizer, it was very good. The atmosphere is top notch here!

Food is O.K and at a reasonable price. Not a fan of their wings though.. Overall a nice place if you want to listen to live authentic Irish music and for a night of drinking and talking amongst friends.
