Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Great place for a quick bite to eat. Chicken is seasoned for flavor which is off the chain. Hit all my taste buds the right way. Staff were cool and worked hard. Customer service was up to par. I'll go back for more.

5 star customer service and the food has always been great for me. Thankful to have encountered Evangela *hope I spelled it right* at the drive thru. She was a breath of fresh air and exactly what this popeyes needed. Someone who can relate, and knows how to deal with people. Give this woman a raise, cuz she deserves it!

The wait time for my order was very short for this area of Washington DC. Anytime I can order and leave quickly in ward 8 is a plus for SE up and coming business community. It's a great environment within the city that's been overlooked & under value by elected officials because of their misguided thinking abilities, To not know the history of the District’s of Columbia and the black history South East had on black citizens free from confinement of slavery to own their own homes and businesses in their communities by riverside in South East Washington DC . Wake up people and learn the history of politicians, business owners, community leaders, government workers who was the first Blac5gg k's to have jobs for the government , All alliance members of black men who help build infrastructure around the community they live in.

As far as taste and freshness, I'm highly recommending this Popeyes location at 601 Malcolm X Street. You can smell the food about a block away and once you come inside you both smell and see that the chicken is likely fresh..and it is. Just enjoyed a totally fresh dinner of the hush puppies with an extra side. While no popeye's has ever been known for their customer service this location included, I'm giving five stars for the very fact that aren't the nastiest and rudest inspite of the neighborhood being that way. Pack some patience and a little understanding when you come through !

The food was poor and there was not much room for me to order my good whilst others waited in line.Food: 2/5

Popeyes is ok but not like the cooking use to be, if you don't get it within 2 hours after the chicken comes out to frier that heat light/lamp takes the moisture out

Have everything I need as far as food, but I get Vaseline and lotion from somewhere else, but they are good for food
