Porters' Pub & Restaurant

We enjoyed a chance to sit at the bar which is hard to do, the bar is usually full. (This bar is loved.) The bartender was awesome, her knowledge was endless about the draft beers and helpful when trying new beers and provide samples. We had appetizers, amazing grilled wings, yes grilled! Lastly, we were able to enjoy dessert and coffee at the bar - the music and staff are great here. Awesome local bar!

Porters' Pub is my favorite place in town for a fun dining experience! Food is always satisfying with some elements of surprise. At this place, specials are truly special! The kitchen seems to have a true passion for food. Service is good. Live bands play every weekend. If you enjoy drinking beer they have a list of beers to be had at the place that gets you a pewter stein. Can't wait to have an excuse to go back for another time!

If you are looking for a good bar / restaurant your search has ended. The food is excellent. The service is stellar and atmosphere is second to none. They have a list of 60 different beers to drink, once the list is complete you join a mug club. By having such a list allows you to try beers you would otherwise not try. Maybe you will find a new favorite and this also brings the patrons together. I never had a bar bring a sense of togetherness like this. Everyone has a common goal to complete and talk about. So come on down and join the Porters Pub family.

This Pub was recommended from friends who locally source some of the steaks for the menu. Listed throughout are indicators that say if the item is local. Nothing tastes better then a farm to table restaurant. I had the Porters Ribeye special and the flavors were delicious and the cook perfect. My uncle had the T-Bone which was equally flavorful. Everything from the appetizer through desert was well prepared and art on the plate. Plus it was nice to see they have a huge selection of Libations and mug club. Worth the drive.

Terrible service, beer and food. It wasn't even busy so the 15 minute wait for my beer was ridiculous. When I drank the beer it tasted old like it had been sitting around for a while. It also wasn't cold and barely had any flavor. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla and got steak instead (i'm not picky so I kept the steak quesadilla).The cheese wasn't completely melted and the steak was so chewy. I was a waitress for 5 years so I understand how the restaurant business works. I read many great reviews so I was eager to try new food and beer. I tried to enjoy this place but was disappointed by the whole experience.
