The Wooden Keg Tavern

The rustic look of this tavern will pull you back to the time of prohibition. If you don't like sitting in the bar area they have a dining area downstairs. Check out the underground tunnel while you're down there. The menu offers wings, burgers and a selection of Irish meals, steaks and seafood as well. Their specialty burgers are to die for! ! These aren't pre-pressed burgers but nice thick burgers made to order. Their wings are awesome too! You can get them boneless or bone-in and they have about 20 choices of sauces and rubs to choose from. Before you leave, ask about their unique bookcase. What a fantastic surprise!

Great atmosphere for a tavern. The story behind the place is amazing too. Prices aren't too bad. I would always go there

I love the wooden keg. The food is amazing. The staff are amazing. Highly worth it.

The Wooden Keg os a family friendly fine dining experience. It has historical value, the Mollie Maguires used to meet here! They found a tunnel where the Mollies escaped capture by following it to a Church basement, and exiting to the near by wood's. You can eat in the "Tunnel room" today! It's fine dining at it's best. With a children's menue. If you deside to dine at the Wooden Keg make a reservation. They serve food untill 10:00 p.m. The bar stays open and has entertainment some nights. I highly recommend The Wooden Keg, Irish pub experience.

Very very comfortable place, great prices great food great drinks. Staff are professional, the place is very very clean. The restrooms are clean. If you're in the area you really can't go wrong here. I would suggest you try it out!!
