The restaurant decor has a nice old yet clean look of a traditional tavern. We ordered vegetable and meat Shepard pies, fish & chip, Scottish curry, and bangers & mash. It took about 30 minutes to serve them. I guess the Shepard pies took some time to bake, and they were steaming hot. All dishes were very tasty with the right amount of seasonings and their presentations were quite pleasing. The wait staff was pleasant and helpful. The only disappointment was that we couldn't ordered some of the plates and drinks because they were only available outside at the patio and it was raining that evening. Will definitely go back to check it out again when the weather is nice.

The food was great. I got a Caesar Salad that was the size of a normal dinner plate. The combination of the parmesan cheese and dressing was creamy, and the lettuce was bright and crisp. I also got the Dark Side Of The Moon dessert which is lots of chocolate. Well balanced and not too heavy and rich. Still super satisfying. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal. Our waitress was awesome, didn't bother us too much, but was able to have fun with us when she came by. The bar area was very busy to the point that it was hard to get out but their was a festival going on at the time. Something to keep in mind if you want to go is get a reservation, especially if there is an event going on in the city, and it's close to the city square so it can get busy quickly. All in all great atmosphere and food. Would go back again in a heart beat.

Beer is awesome, rotates often. ALWAYS seem to have a triple on tap! Fish and chips are delicious, fried pickles are excellent.
