Portsmouth Harbor Events & Conference Center

We celebrated our daughter's Bat Mitzvah at the Portsmouth Harbor Events Center this past weekend. PHEC far surpassed our expectations!! The room was gorgeous and perfectly set up for the adults and kids. The large dance floor was in the middle which was great! All the servers and bartenders were extremely professional, friendly, warm, and helpful. All the food was delicious as well! Throughout the evening, our guests kept coming up to us, complimenting us on the venue, the food, and the wonderful staff at PHEC. Lauren, our PHEC event coordinator was super nice, flexible, and patient with us. She spent a ton of time over the past several months helping us plan our event and making sure our party was everything we wanted it to be from the tiniest detail. And, she was there for our event to ensure that it was! We were thrilled with how our event turned out and highly recommend PHEC!

I photograph weddings at Harbor Events . Nice open beautiful inside and guests can also go outside on the patio. Lauren the the event manager , that I worked with 11/5/17 very organized. She had my car waiting for us after the ceremony , so we could do photos at Prescott Park .

We had our wedding here in September 2015 and were beyond happy with our experience leading up to and on the day of the event. We as a couple, wanted to keep things classy but simple and had what I suppose would be considered a somewhat frugal budget of $10,000. The Wedding Coordinator/Catering Manager, Meagan Cowan, was more than happy to help keep us in those margins while making sure the day was amazing. She was easy-going and energetic, with a go-getter attitude and gave us a ton of options to help make our day special. I took it upon myself to make the decorations and she had me drop them off the night before the wedding. When I walked in the next day it was as if she and I had been on the same creative plain because the room looked exactly how I imagined it would. She was also a huge help in getting the wedding party organized for our entrance into the reception and with the flow of events. She was wonderful and is obviously a great asset to her employers. The biggest compliment we received besides "Congratulations on getting married" was about how amazing the food had been. We did a tasting back in June and were quite impressed by the quality of the dishes we tried. We had some trepidation when it came to imagining how it would all taste in larger quantities because of past experience with banquet events at other venues. Kudos to the Chefs because everything was cooked to perfection. The guests were beyond happy with the options they received and some are still raving about the mashed potatoes and prime rib. Overall there isn't anything I wish that I had done differently. Thank you to all the staff at Portsmouth Harbor Events and Conference Center for making our wedding unforgettable and exactly what we wanted.

Nice venue for a wedding. Decorations were done nice and the space was very user friendly. Location in portsmouth downtown is very convenient. Parking garage half a block away.

Have to say, this place has gotten much better with Wi-Fi service during events. Good size event rooms.
