Portsmouth Regional Hospital

A dear friend of mine was taken to the ER and then was at the ICU for over a week. The staff was wonderful and caring. They were always available for updates and gave us as much information as they could. The primary doctor during most of my friend's hospitalization was wonderful, very caring and took the time to explain what was going on with him. I am impressed and would not hesitate to seek care at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

We had to got to portsmouth hospitable for our 3rd child. He can early. They were unable to care for him and he was immediately transferred to a much better hospitable that could take the proper care that they could not. Some of the doctors were very nice. But the nurses and other charge people were not. Especially one nurse called jarry. We felt disrespected and judged by the staff.some were very rude and mean and we felt like they were not listening to anything we Had for questons. Im very much a quiet person who only speaks when needed and I try to show respect to everyone who does the same. Be very careful if you go here for you baby for they might not have what you need. Or take care of you

Hospitals catch a lot of flack. I know this from working at Kent Hospital in RI. My thumb was cut very deeply and stitches were needed. All staff were extremely friendly from my Triage nurse to the physician's assistant stitching me up. In and out within an hour. Top notch. Thank you.

Very slow, lacking informational updates. Rude ER nurses. My father sat in bed with a heart rate over 130-140 sustained for 2+ hours and the cardiologist couldn’t be found after being paged twice. We waited 35+ minutes for the nurse each time we needed her. Horrible hospital. WDH is significantly better.

Very happy with P. R. Hospital. Good care, good food. Best hospital experience have ever had. Doctors and nurses very attentive.
