A dying breed, but excellent. This is a fixture, I've been eating there for 25 years. 24 years ago I settled on their wonderful steak sandwich, so I can't speak to the rest of the menu. Looks good though. Cathy behind the bar is a doll. In fine weather there's seating outside, but eat inside and soak up the atmosphere. The sound level is blessedly low, I'd give six stars just for that. And a 7th for Cathy behind the bar.

Good place. Waiter was amazing and did so much, barman grumpy man, but did make a good drink.. Worth a visit

Good food with a smile. A great place to stop pool by for a burger. This bar dates back to the lake 1800s.

Great people working there. Good food. The old bar and seating, makes for a relaxing time

Decent restaurant. Downright cheap for being in DC which makes the food a great bargain. Beer selection is mostly AbInbev products with one DCBrau on tap. Decent selection of liquors with a knowledgeable bartender Wasnt too crowded on a Saturday until the Caps game started and the bar got pretty full. Good time all around.
