Great food and brew. Nice arcade machine too. The staff is very friendly and the normal crowd isn't too bad during daylight hours.

When we walked by it smelled good and looked inviting. When I sat down at the outdoor seating with my sweet family (at 4:15 on a Saturday) the waitress came over and asked us to leave saying “ we are not family friendly on the weekends. This is a bar.” I’ve never been kicked out of anyplace in my life. I left feeling embarrassed but as we walked away I realized I was angry. We just moved to the area and this was NOT a good first impression.

Bartender was entertaining... knew kitchen was going to be slow but informed us ahead of time. Excellent food. Great drink specials

Although this place was amazing on its own, I am taking one star off because of a situation. I had a crossdresser continually harass me offering illegal services for monetary compensation right in front of a bartender. Nothing was done and I had to endure this for the half an hour that I waited for my food and also while I ate. There's nothing quite like eating food and having to continually turn down unwanted advances.

Pounds is one of my favorite places in Fargo. It's a cool building, the have great food, and the employees are all amazing. It's a fun place to grab a drink with some friends or just have a quick bite to eat. Definitely a must-try in the downtown area!
