PRHYME: Downtown Steakhouse

I love their Monday and Tuesday bar happy hour. I never had a problem except this last time once I got my food my server disappeared on me took forever to get some of the condiments I needed to go with my food so the food got cold :( then even to pay took forever. Maybe a fluke other than that food is pretty good. I hope their customer service is not up and down now that they have been opened for a little bit.

I took my wife here for a Friday night date. It was hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. I ordered the 12 oz filet. A bit on the pricey side but well worth every bite. We also ordered the Mac n cheese, crab cakes for an appetizer, and the garlic mashed red potatoes. I have nothing but compliments for the food and also the staff. Very attentive server with great suggestions. While on our date we watched a transformer blow and the lights went off. The staff quickly grabbed small lights to place on the table so we could finish our meal in an accidental candle lit dinner.

The half price bar menu on Mondays and Tuesdays made a place this elegant possible for my husband and myself to celebrate our anniversary at. Had the escargot with a perfect amount of light breading and garlic aioli sauce for an appetizer with a Bleu burger; needless to say it much exceeded expectations which were already high. Then we opened the dessert menu and saw the vanilla bean creme brulee, topped with berries macerated in Members Mark. If you get anything get the brulee - it was luscious.

Incredible staff. Try their wine of the day--great price and it never disappoints.

Food was amazing! The service not so much. When you spend almost $200 on dinner you should not have to wait 15 minutes for your drinks.
