My husband and I visited the restaurant back in mid April and we liked it. We've been back for dinner, lunch and brunch. There are so many great offerings on the menu. We usually go to Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn and their menus are more limited. Prospector's has large, extensive salad bar that is really great, with fresh veggies and fruit. They also have entertainment and line dancing classes. We highly recommend Prospector's for great variety of choices and great food.☺

A wedding party and some guests came to this bar after the wedding. After letting us in the bouncers then told us we had to pay a cover and not even 5 minutes after paying to get in they called the cops and forced us to leave. We were just looking to have a good time. No one was being belligerent. This place lost a lot of business.

We never been here before and drove from Gettysburg PA to see Craig Wayne Boyd winner of 2014 Voice. He put on an amazing show and took time for meet and greet before and after the show.
Anyway from the time we walked in until we left it was nothing but a good experience. We were greeted with respect and answered our questions about the show. Since we had time we had a late lunch. Our waitress was very nice and respectful and answered more question without feeling we were a bother. The atmosphere we felt very comfortable with. The food was amazing. Thank you to everyone keep up the good work with your customers

Casual place with a country flare. Large facility that can accommodate a lot of patrons. Americana-style menu and the food is always excellent. Really nice salad bar. Very good bar. Live music. Does a good take out business too. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately I have to write a poor review. My fiance and I have eaten at this establishment 3 times, with each experience being worse than the last.
Our first experience was actually really a nice one; the server was great and offered suggestions, the food was heaven and came in a reasonable amount of time, and we left really happy.
On our second visit things took a terrible turn. The wait for our appetizer was nearly 30 minutes, then my plate came out, just mine. We had to wait another 20 minutes for my fiances dish. We ended up having to take the entire meal home straight from the kitchen because it took so long. I tried contacting the restaurant through their survey but had zero response.
Today is my fiances birthday and she wanted to give Prospectors another shot because things happen and we really do enjoy the food. Again things just seemed so haphazard. We waited so long for a fried macaroni appetizer that the couple that was seated after us had received their appetizers and entrees. Our waitress informed us that our entrees were actually ready before the appetizer and that's what the hold up was. I was kind of dumbfounded. I would have enjoyed the appetizer first but I would rather not have our food cook under the heat lamps while we eat macaroni. When our entrees arrived my fiance received her meal with mushrooms, which she explicitly requested not be on her plate at time of order. She can't eat mushrooms. Again, I had to look at my food get cold while she waited for yet another meal that we, again, took home straight from the kitchen. Our waitress was as accommodating as she could be and very apologetic, but where in the world is management? At nearly 50 dollars a visit we've decided to go to John and Molly's in the next town over from now on.
If you decide to go to Prospectors, ask for extra rolls. Not only are they delicious, but you'll need them to hold you over for the long waits.
