The parking situation took us a minute to figure out. You have to download a parking app called passport. It's on a little sign on the exit and the fence. Thats not something the restaurant/bar controlled but it's worth knowing. The food was great. The service was excellent. The menu is an Asian American blend and it works. Loved the cheese fries. My wife loved the Curry. Because this is Utah I need to state this is a restraint/bar. The food is great but you will be ID'd when you go in so no, don't bring your kids.
Food was great, drinks were good and they had plenty of options. Service took a little longer than we would have liked, they lost our ticket, that may have been a one time thing though. Overall good experience :Food: 5/5
Great comfort food brunch! Checked this place out with the family and it was an all around hit. Food, service, and drinks were good. The overall layout was cool; both indoor and on the outdoor patio. The only thing that I didn't love was that several of the dishes felt very similar. There were plenty of options, it just happened that the 4 different dishes that we picked seemed to overlap very similar. Regardless, they were delicious and the price wasn't bad. Would definitely recommend to others. Food: 4.5/5 Drinks: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Price: 4.5/5 Overall: 4.3/5
Neat little bar. Great atmosphere and patio. Quick walk from the Little America hotel where we're staying. Tasty drinks and appetizers. Drinks are strong and cheaper than the hotel bar we visited so it was a nice change. Staff super friendly.Food: 5/5
4.5/5. I love this Japanese Fusion spot and it’s so unassuming with great food. I had a breakfast udon and great little memosa. Another coupe awesome options with rice for brunch options - sounds a little weird but they are great! Recommend to try them out. I’d love to come here all parts of the day, and would def go out of my way to come here!
Blown away by the food here! Asian-inspired fusion dishes with an American twist. I had the Toast Malone which was absolutely delicious! The prices are reasonable, the service was good, and the atmosphere was very modern and rustic. Note: it is a bar so everyone is I'D at the door. Meal-wise, definitely feels more like a brunch type place and their dinner options don't seem quite as extensive as their brunch options.
Really nifty bar with an Asian twist to the menu. We were able to get right in on a busy Saturday evening by sitting at the bar. Parking is a bit of a challenge and the area is right on the edge of downtown so it’s a bit sketchy. It was busy enough that we felt safe. The staff were good. Prices are fair for the quality and amounts of food. The drink selection looked good, though I was boring and just got a beer. We split the pork belly bao and the k pop fries, and my buddy had a bun-burger due to dietary restrictions. Everything was great. A good bite of a fatty pork belly bao bun is my favorite possible bite of food, and this place delivered just that.
We love going to Purgatory for brunch! We took the fam out for brunch. Good food and vibes! Sad that they discontinued their bacon egg udon, but tried their pork belly carbonara udon and that was just as good! Our server was alright, she gave us water but forgot to refill them. Our food came out pretty quick and our drinks were good! Food that was ordered: pork belly carbonara udon, power bowl and toast Malone. Drinks ordered: whiskey sour and beachfront
I’ve been wanting to go to brunch here for a while & it did not disappoint!! Make sure you get there right at 11 because the line can get long. Staff was great! We ordered a bottle of Champaign & orange juice for mimosas to share. We didn’t wait too long before our food came out & it was really good! Highly recommend the veeg’s burrito. I never find vegetarian breakfast burritos out & about so this was a lovely surprise. Breakfast potatoes were the best I’ve had in a very long time! Would 100% recommend & I can’t wait to go back!!
My favorite spot for dinner in Salt Lake City! So fresh, best service, and beautiful drinks. I had the Kpop Fries and was blown away by the flavor profile. Everyone's drinks were magnificent, both alcoholic and mocktails. It was fabulous. My group had a really lovely server, Jayda. Jayda took care of everyone and was a rockstar with our orders. 100% recommend purgatory and cannot wait for my next visit to Utah so I can have dinner here again.
