Apparently, my auto-recurring payment had not gone through/got disconnected without my knowledge, so instead of warning me that my account was past due, they shut off my service in the middle of winter. They charged me $100 to restart service. The manager I spoke with--Parker--was incredibly rude to me when I discussed the matter with him. I filed a complaint. They're a monopoly and they're well aware of it.
I got no 48 hour notice or letters in the mail! They come from virgina.. the rep on the phone admitted it may take time with the holidays.. i checked my ring camera for the day she said a rep brought my notice out. I dont see any employee put a note on the door! They want 100 dollars upfront to come out same day. I have 3 small children in the house. Its snowing out! They wont wave the fee or bill it so i can pay it off! You should update your policy for winter conditions! What a trashy company!
They shut off my gas without billing me and no warnings. I paid the balance then when I went to call to get it back on, they said I’d have to wait another 2-3 days. By the time it comes back on, it’ll be a whole week without no gas or heat. The customer service was not good at all. They especially discriminate against Spanish customers. I don’t even want to do business with them anymore, but it’s not like I have a choice.
Technician came out to check for leaks, found two small leaks, said it was safe, then turned my heat off did not tell me. Woke up to a 50 degree house. CRIMINAL!!!! MONOPOLY!!!!
Absolutely poor customer service. They answer the phone like they hate their life and don’t listen. Company has address written way different than the ‘legal’ address to start service making it extremely frustrating and confusing for everyone. This is why people just go online and do things anymore without human interaction because not many care about helping or kindness anymore
Overpriced monopoly service. Not to mention a 17$ fee for "connection"?? I turned on my own gas?! I spent 20 minutes waiting on a line just for someone to say I'm good to turn a physical dial, and get charged for it. How could anyone rate this company 5 stars for what they do?
Didn’t offer their budget plan at all. Said I can split up this months payments, but next month will probably be even higher than this month. I asked what I can do about that? NOTHING. Ridiculous.
They only get a star because you are required to at least give them that! It’s a monopoly, they literally do not care about anything. Customer Service is by far the worst I have ever dealt with there employees treat customers just as miserable as they are probably treated by upper management!
They only talk about money money they were absolutely professional and extremely helpful and the csr I spoke with in billing was amazing and went above and beyond with no problem and very nice professional and extremely compassionate and understanding I was able to receive answers and clarification on all my inquiries and even advised of benefits and additional options I didn't know anything about but was voluntarily given additional information because they were going out of their way to help me in every way possible
We are being harrased by collections for a bill WE PAID, Which was $70. Edwin Parry is threatening me for $900. Also to add this was for an apartment we weren't even living in.
