Excellent, compassionate and result orientated place where all have an obvious big heart. My lovely little 3 month old Brittany just finished 2 week puppy camp. Yes... we missed her but this was a great investment which will pay off in spades over her foreseeable 12 year life time. A well behaved puppy/dog will go places with us and have tons of fun. She arrived confused (as were we). Departed confident, brave and ready to be led by us as pack leaders. We learned lots to keep her on her path. Five stars to Quinebaug. (When I read the negative comments I can only sometimes feel sorry for the dogs that are owned by some people)

My (then) 1 year old Rottweiler 'Oliver' completed 'Boot Camp' training at QK back in 2010 - he returned beautifully clean, in amazing shape (physically and emotionally) and perfectly trained. He is over 8 years old now and still attentive, loving, and obedient.
I cannot recommend QK highly enough, the wonderful staff obviously love dogs and enjoy their profession, the place is beautifully maintained.
I intend booking my 8 week old English Mastiff puppy 'Gideon' into 'Boot Camp' just as soon as he is old enough.

This kennel would not even consider my dog because of her age. She is an older dog who has been kenneled many times and never a problem. I even asked if they would take a note from her doctor and I was told "no, sorry, this is our policy". I was shocked. My dog is a very social and needs to be around people and other animals.

After kenneling a couple times, I will not return. It's probably great if you have the dogs they prefer to care for. I, on the other hand, have a very high energy pitbull who takes a lot of patience since we adopted her. They seemed to run her a lot on the treadmill and they said she had a bunk mate. We didn't get much details of her activity the last time we went which wasn't a concern until we came home and noticed she had a black eye. We brought her to the vet in which he said was probably trauma. Nonetheless, we were not offered an explanation of how this happened and they have not offered a response back to my emails.
