Relatively quiet at night, probably because it's a holiday season. Food was good. Ambiance was okay. Servers were nice and welcoming. The servers mentioned that their meals were halal upon asking , but it's best to always ask before you order- just in case it isn't! Overall: good experience

This restaurant became our favorite when we last came here, and we were so happy to see it’s still there. Had a great birthday dinner and owner is friendly and professional. I strongly recommend the Mango Lassi! Everything is delicious and priced right in a great locale .

The owner/host is so nice, he treated my boyfriend and I like family packing our food for us, giving us extra rice to take home, etc. The food was also sooo delicious! Had the chicken tikka masala, gosht vindaloo, naan, and mango lassi. Everything tasted like home. Highly recommend this place if you're craving Indian food!

I love, love, love this restaurant! My husband,daughter and I dined there last night. We were the only customers dining in and we had first class service. The food was amazing as usual and the service was impeccable. We felt like celebrities . Thank you for making us feel special. We will continue to patronize this wonderful restaurant.

We went there Friday night and returned for more on Saturday night, simply because it was amazing. The wait staff was very kind and engaging. I would definitely stop in when I return to Dc. I wish I had pictures but I totally forgot as I sat down to enjoy the meal. Updated with pictures from our visit in May 2022. I took my husband along for his first Indian cuisine. He enjoyed it despite his conservative palette.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Woodley Park area and in D.C. generally. Whether it’s take out or eating in, the food never disappoints. You can tell the chefs, workers, and owners really care about making sure their customers are satisfied. When eating in, the customer service is impeccable and the kindness and professionalism of the staff is unparalleled. Definitely do yourself a favor: drop by Rajaji’s for the rich flavors and then stay for the excellent service!

Chose to eat here because it was close to my hotel. Excellent food and service. The lamb was tender, the paneer was fresh, and the sauces were delicious, all well-spiced. I look forward to being back in the area so I can eat here again.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and the outdoor seating was lit and Covid-safe. Thank you to the staff for a lovely dining experience : we will be back!

Review disappeared ‍ Horrible service. Slow - really slow. We were there for 2.5 hrs with 5 other tables and took us 45 min for a cocktail and 90 min for half cooked food. Won’t go back. Really disappointed
