Ramsey Outdoor Store

I went shopping here for two items. Rowboat oars and a fishing pole and reel. The first did not work out well as they didn't have the size oars I needed. I did buy a pole and reel and also got my fishing license. Very helpful employees.

Recently stopped by with a friend buying some basic camping gear he was in need of. He's a regular so he was telling me that it's a good store to stop at and buy what you require, and I left the store seeing what he meant; nice comfy place you can at least buy the basic components for a bag and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Loved the store and everyone the worked the gun counter. Prices were a little above MSRP but for being local, it was worth it. However, I cant support a store that would rather play politics than sell to some who is a responsible 20 year old gun owner. Saw a young mam walk in who has been there before, done transfers, and purchased loads of ammo who was declined because the person who made that believes he isn't old enough to have a firearm even though NJ gives him permission to with his FID. I wont be shopping there anymore and I hope that young man doesn't either. Sucks to see such a decent store do that to a loyal customer.

Helpful, friendly and professional. Found the perfect shooting glasses for night driving after going to five different outdoor stores! Great price too. Highly recommended.
