The appearance of the pizza wasn’t the best but overall it was yummy. The pizza had a good balance of cheese and crust, and wasn’t floppy. It wasn’t super greasy like some pies are made. All in all, not the best slice but definitely not a bad pizza by any means!
Ordered delivery. Took over an hour and a half to deliver less than a mile. Order arrived cold. Now, I will own that I ordered late. Okay, sorry, I'm an a##hole for that. I can forgive that people want to close and get home. What I can't get around, is that I ordered the garlic knots. What I got was whatever stale spare bread was laying around, cut up and crammed into a box with a couple garlic knots on top so I wouldn't notice. Again, I can handle if you're sold out. I can handle "we're closing" I don't handle being deceived. "Disappointment" doesn't quite encompass the experience
The two young women at the front have been consistently the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. No exaggeration. I’ve tried this place a few times but those two women consistently put you on hold and eventually hang up. Yet when I walk in it’s empty and they’re both just chit chatting. When the food is ready. They won’t touch it or call your name. Usually one of the cooks have to come and help. The young women are typically just sitting and chit chatting. Blocking the register from actual workers. They really don’t do much except sit around and chat with eachother. In front of customers waiting to order or ask about food. Often a cook has to answer their questions. It’s honestly kinda crazy to see and would be entertaining on a reality tv show but it’s not fun when you’re just trying to order pizza or a hoagie after a long day of work. I thanked the cook last time and told him I appreciate all his work because these two women weren’t doing anything and he said that it’s always like that. Those two women must be family of the owner because there is no way they’d realistically find employment elsewhere and they’ll be in for a rude awakening when they get a job anywhere else. Ive given this place 4 chances and those two women have given the same experience everytime. There’s another pizza place around the corner so I’ll just go there instead. It’s a shame because the food is good. But not worth being hung up on because they don’t feel like working or sitting and waiting for food that is right in their face only to have a busy cook from out back have to do their job. If the owner was smart they’d fix this issue. There are several reviews complaining about the slow customer service and I guarantee it’s because of those two.
Save your money Unless you want soggy fries that look like they were just taken out of the freezer and thin, soggy pizza that doesn't even taste good- don't buy food from here. The only reason this place gets one star is because the girl at the register was nice
Food is decent but what’s crazy is it’s about $3.00 per topping to add to any pizza. Ordered a $15 no cheese pizza with 3 veggie toppings and it turned into a $25 pie that arrived under cooked & Overpriced
This is my go to place for pizza, gyros, and garlic knots. They taste fresh and great every time. I highly recommend ordering from here.Recommended dishesPepperoni Pizza, Plain Slice of Pizza, Garlic Knots
Great place for pizza. Can’t comment on other things, but Margarita pizza and cheese pizza is great and affordable compared to other places in the areaRecommended dishesPlain
Pizza is good and staff was nice. Pricey. Two slices of pepperoni was $12
Ordered a chicken Caesar salad. The worst I ever had. It consisted of lettuce, chicken, tomatoes, and garlic knots. Needless to say, I'm never ordering from there again.
I got the Cheesesteak and Holy Mackerel that was a tasty sandwich! More meat than you would think from the picture. 17th & South St is a hot bed for very good cheesesteaks and pizza!! Want to have your own Cheesesteak challenge? randazzo's on one corner and Lazzaro's on the other. may be a few stores in from the corner but close enough!
