Ratcliffe Book & Office Supply

Nice store. Had a few things we were looking for that no one else in town had.

I went to Ratcliffe's in Weatherford to buy 2 books. Before I drove 80 miles to get there I checked their website and found both books in stock and wrote down the prices. One of the books, a loose leaf binder type book consisting of about 100 pages was priced on their website for $119 for a used book. When I got there they told me the book was $199 for a used copy and $225 for a new one. I told them the used book was on their website for $119 not $199. James, the manager, who says his family owns Ratcliffe's REFUSED to honor the price on their own website! I told him this constitutes false advertising but he still refused to honor the website price saying that there are MISTAKES on their website. He also blamed the high prices on "European Book Brokers". I left and drove about 6 blocks to the SWOSU campus bookstore and they had the same book, brand new for $125! Ratcliffe's Used Book Price: $199, Campus Bookstore New Book price: $125.
