One of the very few bars open late night in New Orleans now. Has always been a good time, even 20 years ago! Mix of demographics, good music to dance to, and always good people to meet!Service: 4/5
This is the Official Buffalo Bills Backers Bar of New Orleans! The atmosphere is unmatched and the staff is great! Bills mafia gets to watch the games under one roof! They have Buffalo wings, pizza logs, Sahlen’s hot dogs and buckets of Labatt Blue! Truly a home away from home doors open an hour before every game.Food: 5/5
Needs some renovations, but great burgers. Perfect for lunch time.
AMAZING food! Seemed to be more local than touristy. Front girl was really nice. The grilled chicken salad had BBQ sauce that was so good I didn't need dressing. And they have waffle fries Let's just say when you walk in and local law enforcement is eating there ... you WANT to try it.
Place was pretty darn good. Looks like a hole in the wall but food is satisfying! We had the burger w pb, a salad & tried the broccoli bites. All was great & big portions! Service was alright, much better than the first restaurant we attempted to stop! Very unique place!
The space was “nice”. The burgers were good. The crawfish were tasty. We enjoyed it until we got kicked out for a large party group. It would have been nice to know about the whole place being reserved for a party before we ordered so much from the menu.
Nice place to shake a tail feather. Great music, good dancing, BUT TOO MANY DRUNK PEOPLE. The bartender with the long hair is cute and nice. If you're NOT A SMOKER stay inside. TOO Many people outside smoking. That smoke hits you while exiting. All in All good New Orleans Dance Spot.
It's not gourmet, but the food is bomb! We had fried pickles for an appetizer they were perfectly crispy and a hella burger jalapeños & onion ring. The burger was great and cooked perfectly. We came here after the Ernst Cafe down the street said their kitchen was "too busy". The guys here at the Red Eye were friendly and welcoming and the food was great. It's bar food but GOOD bar food. Love the waffle fries too.
Good greasy dive bar food. Had a hamburger, fries , and wings. The burger was a nice sized burger cooked on a flat top grill with shredded cheese and all the fixins. The wings were okay, probably much better the more you drink. Deep fried, with a bit of spice in the batter. I complain, but I'd order them again. The waffle fries that come with the burger were great, so often you get crap fries with dive bar burgers, these were nice seasoned waffle fries. Other than that, they can spray this bar down with a hose at close every night... and probably do. Concrete floors, picnic tables, plywood bar, sketchy bathroom. Nice place to take a break from the pretentiousness of some of the other Warehouse District bars in New Orleans.
I went here for lunch when all the trendy places had lines around the block. I had the burger with bacon and peanut butter and sweet potato fries. It was hot and tasty, although the peanut butter tends to overpower. The place is a bit of a dive, but it's not like you can't tell that going in.
