RHLP is in the Vanderbilt Food Hall next to the back side of GCT. So it's food hall atmosphere and usually bustling on weekday lunchtimes with Midtown workers and just after work at happy hour time. I've been here a lot for the lobster rolls and frosé but came for something new today. Really enjoyed the Downeast chowder which is less heavy creamy and more tomato but not all tomato with a slight spice kick. They let me try a sample which was nice. Also got the Harvest Salad with shrimp and they asked if I wanted the shrimp warm or cold. Also nice, I got it warm, it's January in NYC. Would have both again. Nice servers and good bar seats in what is usually a hard to find a table food hall.
Can I say fresh buttery lobster rolls Photos Complimentary of the Google Pixel 6 Pro
I expected more from the lobster roll, more flavor and a bit bigger. Quite expensive for what it is.
First time at this location, I've been at the one in the Rockaways at Queens New York City and it was good. I've ordered the lobster roll, a main lobster roll. We came in on a Saturday Long Island railroad to Grand Central Madison which was a great experience getting here the current exits that they have for Grand Central Madison 44th and 47th Street. So you've got to walk down from 47th Street. The shorter is to come up on 44th Street. Anyway, good place recommended
Had a wonderful lunch of lobster roll and salad highly recommend.
This spot is a joke or the workers are the most incompetent. The lobster grilled cheese is cheese and with a hint of lobster. The worker offered to take the lobster off the sandwich and weigh it...this was his solution. Soup was watery and the service was sorry!!! All the workers were high as hell as I observed on my way out. Smh!
The food was delicious and the employees are very kind and helpful, I very recommend this place!
This place has good food but it always seems disorganized. Today I ordered the lobster grilled cheese combo and after forgetting me for twenty minutes, the cook “remade” my meal but as a Mac and cheese instead of grilled cheese and WITHOUT THE LOBSTER.
Little Confusing to find...Its in the corner of 45th and Vanderbilt. Its called Urban Space. They have lots of options and Off course Red Hook Lobster. THEY ARE AWESOME. FOOD WAS SO AMAZING THE LOBSTAH BOX WAS SO GOOD. WE LOVE THE CONNECTICUT LOBSTER ROLL...
I bought a lobster roll to go over the Red Hook Lobster Pound yesterday and to my surprise it was horrible. The bread was old and soggy and the lobster meat was old and tasted like rubber. Jane
