For a local movie experience this is the place to go. Really it's the only option. Unless you want to drive all the way to bend Madras or sisters Redmond Cinemas is your only local Cinema. Prices are climbing just like everywhere else but it doesn't seem as though the prophet are really going to any sort of improvements. That is not to say that it is a bad experience going to this local venue just that it feels as though for a town of 30000 people there could be some improvements to the cinema to draw in a better crowd. But if you're looking for a quiet and quaint Movie experience for a date night this is absolutely the place to go. The Crowds Are Never is crowded the bathrooms are always clean and the service is generally quite friendly.

While the sound in the theater was a little quieter then i'm used to I loved it. The picture quality was good and there was no extra noise like some of these other reviews say. It does look a little worn inside but nothing horrible. I love that is close and I don't have to drive far to see a movie.

This is a small, older-style theater, with prices well below what the big chains charge. The menu is short and the stadium seating is cramped, but there's a fun element gained from the "cozy" setting.

Gone in a few time with family when in town and each time it's been a miserable experience. Place has been dirty every time, popcorn consistently stale, and the theaters themselves really small with dim screens and bad sound systems that seem to constantly let off a low pitched hum. Also, not sure if it's the place itself, the employees, or other customers, but its reeked of weed every time I've been in. Just drive 15 minutes to Bend and go to the cinema there instead.

It's clean, plays movies, and is local. Who cares if the staff are disinterested, not that they are, you interact with them for 5 seconds then see a movie and you don't have to drive to Bend. Mostly they are very nice but their job is boring as this theater gets very little traffic. Also you can't expect a small theater to pay much and therefore recruit bubbly, upbeat employees. If you trash the theater and no one comes, it will go out of business, ruining this wonderful service for the rest of us. I love seeing movies here and could careless how the staff acts. Tonight they were exceptionally friendly.
